Hot angel, thank you for posting this thread. All of the responses brought back a lot of memories for me; some were so downright nostalgic that I had to hold back the tears. Does anyone remember going swimming at a nearby river or stream on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon with friends, siblings or relatives? That was one of the numerous childhood memories I shall cherish for ever! I miss Nigeria for some of the reasons many of you have already mentioned. But above all, I miss Nigeria because I know that I could possibly never go back!! However, I do visit quite often in my dreams- and for now, that'll have to do!!! (lol) |

Yep, I haven't eaten roasted Corn in 6.25 years and I haven't drank Palm wine in 6.25 years. Roasted corn is the only way that corn should be eaten Plus I miss Suya and Nigerian confectionaries, but not akara or Moi Moi cos I make those here |
