Unfortunately no love for the stl100-1 and Z3 owners, the files for Z3 were pulled by BlackBerry before anyone could lay their hands on it and the stl100-1 files are meant for internal devices only. cry

These are Developer OS builds and as such they may be crippled and not suited to run on your main device.
But it has been confirmed that it is a Full OS. grin

you guys don't need to hate Mega...you just need to understand how the site works

the best way to get a VERY LARGE file from Mega if you're not sure of your connection is to have a Mega account....once you have an account and you need to download a very large file from another user's account, just ask mega to copy the file to your own Mega account and then download the file to a computer from your account

if you try to download a very large file from another user's account, that download will most likely fail but it won't from your account unless your internet connection is terrible

Emrich: Guys I need advice; I have Z10, the stl-100, and the only problem I have is battery. Now I want to give it out but for now Z10 is the BB10 for me, I have fallen for everything about it. So now I'm thinking of getting another variant of it. I heard it mentioned here once that there is a bigger battery one can buy for the Z10. Please guys who knows more about this and can this battery really solve the Z10 battery wahala? Thanks

i will advise you get a Z3 or Z30 and move on from the Z10...the phone is an excellent device but it is now almost two years old while the other two full touch are less than a year and slightly older than a year old respectively
Re: Blackberry 10 Devices Home: Z10, Q10 Etc by Emrich(m): 6:36am On Oct 03, 2014
cupid4ig: yes. 4500mah. I have a friend who bought from eBay in bulk and he is using and selling it ( though don't know if he still have any for sell. But just so u know the battery doesn't work on stl 100. So u have to get stl2, 3 or 4 if y want to use the battery.
Thanks a lot for this info but I'll like to know, if it's not asking too much, does it cause battery calibration problem since the phone is not originally built for the battery?

And if you can provide the friend's details or find out from him if he still has it, it will be of great help coz even my friend that uses stl3 wants to buy as well. Thanks.

I know it is the first BB10 but it is the perfect one for me. The Z3 has 5mp and Z30 is too costly. Passport is the only other choice but unless they sell it 50k at most, it's a waste of money since all BB10 devices are capable of all n the same things. Thanks for your input still.

if you use IDM to initiate the download from Mega, then IDM should be able to resume the download

and z10 has a 5hour battery life whether 3g or edge and you can't leave your house without a charger or powerbank. in what universe is that perfect? Cut the sentiments and go with the flow - former z10 user now a z3 user

That comment was a reply for someone else and not you. But since you want in... I did say in my earlier post before the one you chose to quote that the only problem I have with it is battery.
And in the one you quoted, I didn't say it's the perfect one for you or the rest of the world but for me, me not you.

u don't get it. I have a premium account with mega and to me it's useless. U can't download from mega with any download manager u have to use their own manager in phone and system. The main reason people use it over there is because they have stable network but here once ur network breaks that's how the download will break. I have use mega uncountless times and I ended up being frustrated. Even sometimes after downloading it will remain at 99% till ages. Well everybody on his own but like I said I prefer bitcasa cos I can use idm to download from it just as I downloaded the latest leak with no problems but if it's mega it won't even catch the link talk more of downloading.
