The Minister of Information Mr labaran Maku stated that the Federal Government of Nigeria will not Grant Amnesty to the dreaded boko haram insurgents unconditionally, maintaining that the group or their representatives must come out for dialogue with the FG, this was made known,while he was responding to questions on sunrise daily an early morning channelstv programme.
While while making reference to the Efforts put in by the some Leaders and Governors of the Niger Delta region when the Administration of late president Musa yar adua brought up the issue of Amnesty to the warring militants and also call on the Northern politicians/leaders to take such step instead of politicizing the call for Amnesty made by the Sultan of Sokoto. maintaining that there is no way that amnesty has ever been given without conditions being met.
He further maintain that up-till now there have not been any clear head or leader of the group that the FG can dialogue with.....Now the question is,,who is being sincere here?
FG or Northern Leaders/politicians!!!
