The Amnesty Debate: Are We Negotiating With Terrorists? by Nobody: 9:50am On Apr 06, 2013
What is the meaning of Boko haram?
What are their ideologies?
Are they like MEND?
What are they fighting for?
Who are they?
What about JAMB, OPC, MASSOB etc? Any amnesty for them?
Would this lead to other groups taking up arms?
Why are these northern leaders so interested in the amnesty instead of calling them to order?
How would the IGBOs feel?
Is GEJ a weak leader?
where would the amnesty funds come from?

To me its like paying an assasin with your money for killing your loved ones!

What do u guys think?

bbpreye.:
What is the meaning of Boko haram?
Western Education is‎ a SIN

What are their ideologies?
Islamisation of Nigeria

Are they like MEND?
YES

What are they fighting for?
Spread of Islam

Who are they?
Moslems

What about JAMB, OPC, MASSOB etc? Any amnesty for them?
aside JAMB, the rest aren't full-blown terrorists organisations!!

Would this lead to other groups taking up arms?
Maybe... Maybe not

Why are these northern leaders so interested in the amnesty instead of calling them to order?
Boko boys don't have regard for anyone...even their elders. Haven't you heard of attacks on the Emir of Kano and other highly place northerners??

How would the IGBOs feel?
Confused as usual. They're a group without an idea of what's really Good for them. The idea of amnesty for Boko Haram will be very beneficial to IGBOs who claim they're the targets of D Boko boys..

Is GEJ a weak leader?
YES. I think so. He's also very very unstable

where would the amnesty funds come from?
what do you mean by amnesty funds?? Funds for what exactly?? Any expenditure in implementation of amnesty will be from FG's purse not from your Wema Bank Savings Acc with a N2566.56 balance.

To me its like paying an assasin with your money for killing your loved ones!
well that's ur opinion and it doesn't matter. you're irrelevant in the grand scheme of things

What do u guys think?
I think GEJ's consideration of amnesty is‎ a ‎welcome development

Thanks and God-Bless

Boko haram is owned by some malams and alhajis in nigeria who fink dey can sit in deir 'out of civilization empire' in d north and decide nigeria's president. Boko haram should shift one side, dey r very irrelevant right now. Nigerians r focused on beta tins and securin a beta future. And is it bcoz dey just decided not to ans dese bokoharam boys? A group of uneducated hausa malams. Wen nigerians are truly ready for dem, Dey will b wiped out lik dust.

What about MEND...

Are they saints??

Didn't they kill innocent Nigerians and foreigners??

Didn't they destroy and sabotage the Nation's economy??

Didn't they destroy our image in the international image??
