na wao, its difficult to understand how we argue here on nairaland.
tambuwal was not comparing whose administration was the best, he only spoke about the rule of law.
and is he wrong in his submissions? No!
we all know obj had no respect for legislators and determined who became leaders of the legislative arm thereby usurping their powers. Anybody who justifies the killings in odi and z.biam really lacks knowledge on what the rule of law is all about.
same obj only respected court orders when it favored him.
to some of u tambuwal is one dull president hungry hausa man, but it shouldnt stop him from stating the obvious

ochukwuma15: Kids, have no right whatsoever, to insult adults, even when those adults are dancing in the market square without an under wear.

But they have the right to point out the mistakes, errors and ommissions of the adults for future references, which is what i believe that the honourable speaker is doing.

If mr. Obasanjo (not general please) did'nt perform up to average as mr. Tambuwal is making us to believe, why not invite him to the house to explain himself.
And if mr. Speaker thinks that the former president committed any atrocity in odi and zaki biam, then invite him for questioning, for christ sake, you are the mouthpiece of the country.

Deep down inside me, i believe that mr. Mathew olusegun obasanjo performed below 30 percent in his 8 years rule as the president of Nigeria, but until nigerians are ready to do the right thing (which is to prosecute him ), they should allow the old man (91 years) to rest.

are we now on nairaland fm or nairaland tv?

Mr. Speaker. You and your members are THIEVES. Highest allowances in the world. Constituency projects. Shake down of MDAs with 'OVERSIGHT'. Foriegn trips everyday everywhere.
When you deal with those issues, we will listen to you. Meanwhile you are all killing Nigeria fast.

OBJ is still the best President Nigeria ever had compared to those illiterate northern alimangiri folks like shagari, babangida, etc who happened to be the father of the foolish #Tambuwal.... Without the help of OBJ, alimangiri tambuwal won't be where he is o... Go and check his history.... The present government have a very good ambition but tambuwal and some other fools won't let it...

Paentera: OBJ is still relevant six years on.
OBJ is still relevant because he brought a clueless and weak President to replace himself. He never intended any good for Nigeria and he does not like people to outshine him. He Knew the health challenges of Yar'Adua, and out of 160 million Nigerians, he still made him President thinking he will still be ruling Nigeria from Ottah farm. We all know that JONATHAN is the number one MUMU of this country yet, OBASANJO chose to make him a president. By the way, OBASANJOs achievement in 8 years of civil rule did not outshine that of IBBs 8years AS MILITARY PRESIDENT. It's just that the hatred of the south West on the man makes them not to acknowledge the man's achievements.......OBASANJO DID NOTHING FOR NIGERIA EXCEPT WRITING OFF THE DEBT HE ACCUMULATED FOR NIGERIA DURING HIS MILITARY ERA....THE PRIVATISATIONS HE DID WAS STARTED BY IBB UNDER THE STRUCTURAL ADJUSTMENT PROGRAM OF KALU IDIKA KALU and the only successful privatisation OBJ did is the Telecom industry and what else?.

Tambuwal wasn't underage when OBJ was doing his things, so what were his views on OBJ's disregard for the rule of law? Can anybody recall what Tambuwal said in opposition to Obansanjo's numerous wrong doings? The truth is that OBJ and the likes of Tambuwal are birds of the same colour merely nesting on different trees.
