I said a long time ago that I won't be bothered by any ungaurded uttrance from this prisident but this guy won't stop shocking me week after weeks with unpresidential and unintelligent remarks! At least let him keep his mouth shut for some time, that could be wrongly interpreted as wisdom from some quarters.

GEJ looks so detatched from the real world. He is always making statements detatched from the day. Is he this uninformed or does he actually believe as many Nigerians are as dumb as he thinks. He's had ample time to five us a breath of fresh air, and what has he done - make OBJ's corrupt ways look like nursery school games. In three years, GEJ has left most Nigerians with the impression that he is not bothered about the massive corruption in Nigeria's public society. Look at who he appoints to offices, read his words about declaring his assets. Where is the NNPC probe file? Look at how he made a mess of Ribadu's efforts to clean up NNPC. In the heat of this massive corruption news cycle, he will appoint a committee to look into how the Americans got their information. And when that committee presents him with a report, he will appoint another committee to look into that report, and another one and another one. Talk about a man so unsure of himself.

Please everyone lets not be abusive to this daft, slow-poking, dead-brain, fish-phucking, dullard, cap-headed, animalistic man known as Ebere "Badluck" Jonathan, the President of Nigeria.

It is very wrong to abuse him. If you people treat him in this way, what do you expect the international community to say? Then he will come back and open that his brain-disconnected mouth to add insult to injury... an act he specialises in.

Please stop abusing the disabled president of Nigeria o...

Jonathan is right...Nigeria has minimal or zero corruption. The problem with critics of Nigeria
is that they cannot differentiate between culture and corruption. Some elements of our culture are bribery, fraud, nepotism, etc.

Even common embezzlement, the people will not let GEJ hear word. Can you believe it?

What is wrong with these critics? Please leave our dear fresh air alone. mtcheeeeeeeeew

Billyonaire: Corruption doesnt stop a country from developing if the infrastructure are in place, countries like USA are even more corrupt, but things seem to work cos they have developed infrastructures in over 300yrs of their existence. Nigerians need to understand that USA was no way near where we are when they were 60yrs in their Independence from Britain. By the time we are over 300yrs like USA, we will be more beautiful than USA is today. ...What I can say, is, Rome was not built in day, USA was not built in 60yrs. Nigeria is a great nation, doesnt owe 10% of the debts that USA owes, doesnt Tax citizens high tax margin up to 35% like USA taxes their Citizens.
All I want to tell Nigerians is, that, Yes, there is corruption and we are working on it, and we are just less than 60yrs old, America is over 300yrs old. There are so many negative news from USA against Nigeria, and they also last week, stopped Nigerians from the DV Lottery 2015, Is there something America is not telling us ? Personally, I do not care, cos I love Owerri more than New York.

Stop comparing USA and Nigeria. You cannot compare Lagos and Jigawa. Nigeria should be compared with other fellow rag-tag countries. I don't understand why Nigerians like to compare themselves with USA. What's with all these delusion of grandeur?

pls, take a moment and read this piece. it will do you good

To talk about the Nigerian economy first, Nigeria is a middle income, mixed economy and emerging market, with expanding financial, service, communications, and entertainment sectors. It is ranked 30th in the world in terms of GDP (PPP) as of 2012, and its emergent, though currently under performing manufacturing sector is the third-largest on the continent, producing a large proportion of goods and services for the West African region.

As an economist, Nigeria is not doing bad. i will say that we are staying afloat and of course this situation in Nigeria will attract investors (local and foreign), money managers(local and foreign), and lots of infrastructural facilities.
In this Regard, a foreign financial institution has brought their services to us in Nigeria. This company has been in existence for long, headquarters in USA. please visit their website( m c d a v e i n v e s t . c o m) and read more about them. I am sure it will be of tremendous help to you financial wise. they have been tested and they are trusted. believe me, you can entrust your money with them and see it grow. Help yourself and check them out

Mr. Dan E. Coker.
An Economist.
