Uk. 18. Finish high school at 16 then 2years of college diploma and then a degree. Unless, you be eistein ofcourse to start a degree earlier than that.

my first and d only jamb I eva wrote was very funny cos wen I looked @ d calculations in maths,physics and d chemistry,I had no option buh to migrate to d front roll from behind and shaded sum1's paper type dat is totally different from mine,scored 198....no time to dull in an exam hall.well I tnk God sha am a potential agricultural economist,hv less dan 6 months in d university n I will be done for good!

Wrote my 1st jamb in 00, my result was withheld for no obvious reason. Wrote the next yr n scored 252, yet was nt offered my preferred course of study (LAW). I pckd up a dip. form, thus begun my uni career. One thing i knw, JAMB as an exam body was nt this porous bk then. It was very strict. The processing was quite tedious 2. I stil remember havin 2 take a detachd slip 2 their offce thursday prior 2 d exam 2 verify exam centre(s) n 2 check result status 2. Very rowdy!

The average age a youth in Nigeria finishes secondary school is 16. Most of us tend to write all the exams required for entering a university in our final class in secondary school and if one passes all, one can get in. Also, once you finish secondary school, you have the options of going to a university, polytechnic and College of Education. You are not obliged to go to any college or such. Its your choice.

Jambbbbbbbb my first jamb 2002 was withheld I didn't want to wait I went to polytechnic wen I finished my ND prog I re wrote it n scored 220 but cudnt be admited soooooooo went bak for my HND.........jst remains 1mth to colect my n y s c cert.tankz to u DEAR GOD

Wrote my first JAMB in 2003 applied to study Petroleum engineering but missed that admission because i came late for screening/registration (I went to UI after names have been sent to punch newspaapers for publiction). The second jamb went in the way of the first just that the school i chose is different.

The third jamb: I cant forget waiting for Unimaid to release their admission list and when that was not forth coming, i called the school on the number on jamb brochure but I was astonished when the receiver kept on saying ba turenchi (did jamb did a mistake in the number) . The admission never came despite the fact that i scored 258 and applied for Mechanical engineering.

The fourth and last JAMB I wrote gave me the testimony of being a graduate today despite the fact that i neither chose the school in JAMB nor obtained change of institution form when all other hopes were lost.
.
All these i went through; 4 jamb, 3 PDS entrance exams (though i didnt go because i dont like the arrangement but i fogot that time is a friend to nobody ) and one NDA exam.
.
May all who are experiencing what I experienced and those that wrote the last jamb and all those who will write in the nearest future (if the scrapping does not scale through) have a bigger testimonies than mine.

@Babiloko....how am I ungrateful?After preparing so hard expecting 300 and something.....only to see 272. Don't I have right to aim for higher things? So if you fall below your expectation...won't you be disappointed?. Terrible.

Jamb is truly not difficult, it is just fear that drives people into malpracticing. Wrote once in 2011 and made 218 and i am currently studying engineering, it was a kinda hard back then, maybe i got lucky because i studied indifferently. I started out on my own, aced the english but could barely answer 50 questions from the remaining 150, that was until someone signalled to aid me looking at my dilenma but looking at it now i am just angry at myself, i just don't see why i can't score 350 and above. The secret is study with the interest you have on the subjects. Jamb on experience is only impossible when you are afraid and sorely reliant on bombs but easy when you study critically for it.
