mumuface:
reality has bitten Fergie on the butt cheek, the days of free money from vain benefactors are a long time agone, its only Man Shitty and Real Madrid bucking the trend at present and their days are numbered, FFP rules will catch up with City and the common purse negotiations in La Liga will soon force Real Madrid to live in the real world.
Barca already have a productive academy and should do fine, Real have gone for young stars like Oezil and Khedira to stem the tide but IMO, they are living on borrowed time, their culture in that club is just totally wrong and elitist, its a wonder its perpetuated it for so long in these times.

On another note, I have a sneaking suspicion Fergie will leave Manure soon not to soil his legacy, the signs are already there with this Rooney debacle, by the time Austerity really starts biting at Manure, people go hear weeeeehn. I know Fergie will cooly negotiate his way out and get his fawning media admirers to do his dirty work for him by placing all the blame with the Glazers by accusing them of breaking promises they made to keep Rooney.

as for your question, its between UTD and Chelsea as usual

Count UTD out for this season, Chelsea can win it but Arsenal will definitely finish ahead of Manure this season, I can bet that with anyone.
Re: Official: Nairaland's Gaynners Tomfoolery (all Quoatations)! by coogar: 7:04pm On May 22, 2011
fufuface:
1. The circumstances are different, Manure's situation now is akin to Arsenal's leaking of quality players which started after the invincibles, you don't get a sudden drop in performances, it sets in over time. If you leak that many quality players its bound to start showing soon. With those 3 players, Manure won 3 PLs back to back and a UCL, since their breakup started, what they've won is a Carling cup and their PL placement doesn't suggest any improvement soon even though I agree its early days.

2. The rise of Man city throws a spanner into the works just like the emergence of Chelsea's money did for Arsenal, do you really think if Chelsea's money hadn't come that Arsenal would have remained potless these past 5 years? who beat Arsenal in the FA cup semis and Carling Cup final?

3. Yes Fergie can still turn it around, but with the debt at Manure and the recent prudent spending approach all over, there are no quick fixes, I think reality is dawning at Manure.

4. The coming of Age of Arsenal's youth policy is another major factor that will tell here, its either you buy or develop, presently Manure looks short at both.

fufuface:
Open your eyes Debo, Manure lost the PL crown last season, what new purchases have they got? Bebe, Smalling and Hernandez are those the calibre of players Manure bought in the past?
I'm not hoping that things will get worse for other clubs, they are already bad because their system is unsustainable, you can't always continue spending money you don't have, ask Portsmouth, Liverpool, The Glazers and Abramovic

even when a seasoned veteran like debosky(who has suffered 4 tomfoolery threads) was telling mumuface to hold his horses, the dimwit kept yapping his mouth like an ape on viagra saying all sorts of stuffs that united's empire has crumbled.

@Starboard
Do you expect me to be a prophet of good fortune for Manure?
mind you, I still think it is a delay to an inevitable slide in fortunes for manure, a postponement of the evil day. For sure, yu're still ending this season below Arsenal.

Re: Official: Nairaland's Gaynners Tomfoolery (all Quoatations)! by coogar: 7:18pm On May 22, 2011

I came to the conclusion that the pundits are mostly failed Managers who can only run their mouths off on TV a while ago, How can anyone worth his salt not know that Chamakh scored 5 goals in the UCL last season, made the french league first 11 and claim he is unproven?

Chamakh has been an impressive buy, makes one wonder if 6m was the difference between silverware and going empty handed last season, I just love everything that guy does on the pitch and his knack of scoring important goals is often a difference in getting a result, most people would only consider his goals for Bordeaux but I wonder how many penalties he got for them on the evidence of the number he's got for us so far (about 3 or 4 if I'm not mistaken) no matter what other failings Arsene has, he knows his players. Squillaci and Koscielny have been inspired buys too. Squillaci just oozes composure and confidence at the back, I think he is even better than Vermaelen as a defender.

I didn't say it would be now, but from what I can see it will happen in the not too distant future, and it did not come from only yesterday's game but from a trend I noticed developing at Manure from last season. It actually maybe quicker than we even think. Will Rooney and Nani be fit all the time? even with Valencia out I believe they already have a major problem but that remains to be seen.

Compare what that reserve team did against a similar reserve team and what an Arsenal team mostly comprising of 17 & 18 year olds did against PL veterans of Blackburn just 2 weeks ago. When we said this about Liverfluke 2 seasons ago, some people thot we were talking nonsense harping on about how how Liverpool is buying Torres and buying that player while we werent, how quickly did they go from 2nd place and competing for first place to can't even make top 6 and with massive financial woes making recovery even more difficult?

You give Manure too much credit, the same way some people gave Liverfluke too much credit until things fell apart. There is a lot wrong with that club and it will be revealed very soon, all our eyes will see it.

the funniest bit is debosky tried his best to warn fufuface with his moronic and idiotic rants but his head is just attracted to knocks. grin cheesy i'm sure by next season, fufuface's optimism would have been dented and he would tread with care.

more classic quotes from fufuface.

Who do you think will win it? one thing I can bet on with all certainty is that this season we'll finish ahead of manure, maybe I should just go an alter my bet to that?

All of manure's recent purchases have been underwhelming to say the least, Chicharito is the only one you can say has any decent pedigree and that is if you consider the mexican league to be of a decent pedigree, Smalling couldn't command a first team shirt at Fulham a mid-table club at 20 years of age and this Bebe chap is really a bolt out of the blues and a big gamble at such a cost, 7.5m for a 20yr old who has only had a pre-season with a 1st division Portuguese club never played national under age competition for Portugal at any level, even the Portuguese are asking Bebe who?

Despite the paucity of funds at OT, I can see old habits die hard and Baba Fergie is still splashing the cash any how only problem is that he is moving to Arsene territory now signing unknowns and for big money too. I never wish well for manure but even with my emotional goggles removed I still don't see how this new direction can end well for Fergie, I foresee tears at OT.

grin cheesy grin cheesy grin
mumuface should never be allowed to get near the internet ever again. he's a disgrace to all the arsenal fans on nairaland. i used to think hnic and debosky spew hokum but mumuface makes them look like amateurs. ;

Trust HNIC to pop up with something silly to say.It would be shocking if the numbskull wasn't in this compilation.

As for duduspace/mumuface/fufuface,he has NO credibility whatsoever. . .
