She's asking for 4 billion and ordinary flag they can not take care off? The thing is, these useless and incompetent people in Abuja walk and drive by the messed up flags everyday. Incompetence from top to bottom, it even runs in the family. smh... 27 Likes |

100 Naira fine? 10 Naira daily penalty? Truly the constitution requires updating! Yet even more, it requires to be adhered to, as who would dare, face to face, complain about this eyesore and not find himself in the cells usually reserved for the worst scum of society as determined by the lords in Black uniforms? 2 Likes |

nuclearboy: 100 Naira fine? I agree it needs to be amended, but it's not in the constitution. It's considered an act of the National Assembly. The National Assembly started the process of amending it late last year, but the bill has not yet been passed into law. Sources of Nigerian law: 1) The Constitution 2) Acts of the national and state assemblies. (Decrees and edicts of military governments are now considered as acts of the state or national assembly) 3) Received English Law (Common Law, Doctrines of Equity, Statutes of General Application/laws made by the colonial government). 4) Judicial Precedent (court judgements). 5) Customary law (including sharia law). 6) Delegated legislation (Administrative agencies' regulations and rulings). 7) Historical, Literary or Formal sources (including latin maxims). |

naptu2: Okay, correction well made and accepted! My point remains that the law is outdated but worse, who will implement even that ridicule in Nigeria considering the persons involved! I attended military schools and can't imagine what such travesty's would earn you if they were even fantasized! Even looking at that flag (Nigeria's) hurts my balls! 1 Like |
