Don't go for gas cooker because of the wannabies questioning you here..

btw, kerosine is more expensive than gas! (last time I checked)
So you may wish to consider a medium size cylinder or the larger one to save cost as time goes on.

Says who? I've been cooking jollof rice for a long time, my momma taught me, her momma taught her and we never use wooden spatula, we always use a regular cooking spoon and it never burns. Most people I know use regular, metal soon..so I really do not know what you're going on about.

fruityjojo: jollof rice burns easily expecially if u use an alluminim spoon in turning it. Wooden spatula is d bestest prevents burning.

. Even in burials nd weddings cateries use mighty longg wooden stick/spatula 2 cook! U don't use metal spoon 2 cook a GOOD jollof rice! Plastic yes, wooden yes, Metal/Aluminum NO!
