Hello NL, "I had always been baffled with this stammering problem of mine!. I have passion and enthusiast for education and I had been trying my best to be the best scholar I can!. Am not a dollard when it comes to education, right from my nursery education to this stage (colledge), I always pass my exams in a flying colours!, but, there was this STIGMA attached to the whole thing! "I am a stammer!" And every of my effort to get ride of it prooved futile!. I need to move on with my education, I need to communicate what I have learnt at school with my prospect employer, I need to give my quo and opinions when situation warrant for it but how can i?, With being a stammar. Pls i need your contributions has it might give me the solution have been longing to get.

Sometimes we want a get well quick solution, but this does not work in some cases. What struck me about what you have written about yourself is that you say you are not a dullard. And you always do well in your work. Is it possible that you also have a very quick mind and so that rate at which your thoughts are coming and the rate at which you express yourself do not balance hence it comes out as stammering. As I say I am no expert, but you need to observe yourself quietly and gently and make a note of the times when you find yourself stammering and reflect deeply on what caused it or why you did.

No matter what you find out, you can overcome this. Pray to the Lord to help you. And also try talking slowly so that you do not stammer. It does not matter how long you take to make the sentence, but concentrate on talking as slowly as possible without stammering. Then try to do this as a main goal. Eventually you want to aim to being a very slow talker until you are no longer stammering. This should take you at least 6 months - 1 year of active concentration. Practice , Practice Practice. And with quiet confidence for each successful step taken, you will be able to take another one. You are building a house here and each building block needs to stand or sit firmly before the next one is used. Good Luck.
