The crisis that happened in Nasarawa State has really spread wide and near with different people having different views about the EGGON NATION. Saw this on the TAAL CIRCLE where one of the poster, an eggon man posted on TAAL facebook account and thought i did share it here.

NASARAWA CRISES: LET THE TRUTH BE
TOLD.

The case of Nasarawa crises is liken to one who wants a dog kill, al he need to do is to give it a bad name and someone else can help him kill the dog.

Lots had happen behind the scenes in all the administrations ever existed in the state, lots of lies too have been told about the Eggon Nation without knowing that the more lies are told, such a person needs
more lies to cover the existing lies.

However, there is an adage in Eggon language that says “ Are lu a wo ajÖ, moa la gnu a wo ajÕ mbo” what that means is that If the person speaking is a fool the listeners have senses to evaluate.

Lots have been said and done in an attempt to give the Eggon nation a bad name before other peace loving sister tribes in Nasarawa state so that they would hate the Eggon that was not achieve, the other
joker is to picture the Eggon Nation negatively before Nigerians and the world at large.

Some things that were said against the Eggons were that the Eggons wants the gubernatorial seat come 2015. We are stating categorically that the Eggon nation have NO reason to fight before they get the gubernatorial seat if God designs it so. Because the Eggon nation have long acquired what it takes to be a governor before the dream of creating Nasarawa state ever came to be or anyone in the state could think of becoming a governor. But they have been patient and waiting for God’s appointed time.

If anyone doubts this fact, records should be revisited on Nasarawa elections who won and who assumed powers, it is also worthy to know that all the political parties that came to be in the state, they were all the
hand works of the Eggon people. Any parties the Eggon introduce into the state by God’s grace always come to be a party to be reckon with. Therefore, The Eggon nation only waits for God’s time to govern the state aright, it can never be by might.

SOME FACTS
What Nasarawa state is experiencing is reaction to hidden agenda of Hausa- Fulani to take over the state, rule, dominate and conquer the State thereby relegating owners of the lands (not only the Eggon tribe but other tribes as well) to the background.

Why the Eggon people are at the receiving end is because they are the most populated. By the time they are dealt with other tribes will be a walk over for them.

The mathematics is to first of all instigate fight between the Eggon and her peace loving sister tribes so we can develop hatred for each other, but they realized that was not working. The second calculation was to use religion, but that too failed because the highest percentage of Nasarawa people are Christians.

The third is to use the Government against the Eggon in all areas.

At this point the governor is advice to sit back and rethink the circumstance that brought him to power and
disassociate himself from wrong advisers who would want to use him to achieve their motives.

Truly every Eggon person is surprise with the sudden change in Governor’s way of life and actions which are far fetch from the expectations of the people who voted you to be their Governor. You were voted overwhelmingly by the Eggons and other tribes in the state not because you merited it but the people’s goodwill permitted him to unseat the then PDP governor which was a surprise to the whole nation and this only happened because President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Nigeria a person of Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan allowed credible election.

QUESTIONS TO PONDER
May be Governor Al-makura should answer these few questions, they may help him know he might have being wrongly advised to take some of this actions and if his actions were deliberate, then he is out to
fulfill an agenda yet to be reveal.

Q1. Was there any earlier arrest warrant from a competent Court of its jurisdiction to Baba Lakyo and he
violated it? If not why arresting a single man with troupes if there is no unidentified order from the Governor.

Q2. Does Al-makura contacted the paramount ruler of the Eggon Nation, HRM Dr. Bala Abene Angbazo or ECDA National or State body of any act of disorder or violation of Nigerian Constitution in their act of worship rites by their son Baba lakyo so they can call him to order?
If not why not if he has regards for Eggon leadership.

Q3. When Al-makura does become people’s mediator and their God? Perhaps he wants to go into spiritual matters, we best advice that he choose between his officially elected office and or choose to
become a spiritualist.

Q4. Does any Pastor or Iman complain about Baba lakyo converting his members into Eggon cult worship? If yes please publish their names, the Church and or the mosque.

Q5. Is it the responsibilities of police men to return converts back to their former faith? If not why worried about Eggon leaving Christianity and Islam to their ancestral worship?.

Q6. Was Al-makura or his parents born into Islam? Or they converted from Gwandara cult worship to Islam? If they converted what is his problem with those who choose to leave other religions to their
native form of worship?

Q7. Are the converts Al-makura complains about Eggons or Gwandaras where he hails from? If they are all Eggon converts what is his problem with their conversions does Al-makura gives Salvations or has he
become one of the prophets?

Q8. Are the converts not going to Baba lakyo’s shrine themselves and even pay a token before been initiated? Al-makura complained of extortion, if you do not go to Church a Pastor has no business
asking you for an offering in your house.

Q9. Has Al-makura destroyed the shrines of the Gwandara people? Charity they said begins at home. If he does not want to see shrines in the state they Eggon could be willing let go but he has to start with the
Gwandaras.

Q10. Does the history of conversion permit any one to destroy someone else’s shrine and powers without the consent of the person? Perhaps you destroy it and he choose to build other alters would you now concentrate on destroying alters leaving your primary assignments?
In Christendom, until the person is convince of the new Gospel he/she will then bring forth all that has to do with old life to be burnt.

Q11. How does the Eggon people arm bush the Security men? An arm bush at the scene of the arrest,? And in Lakyo community where the Eggon people live? Then it’s no longer an arm bush. To die in a
combat fight is absolutely different from arm bush. The Eggon nation in general do not have any reason to fight government security agents and would never do so except a defense for their lives and properties where the security allow themselves to be use in favour of a hidden agenda.

Q12. Where does the Eggon people ever initiated a fight in the history of Nasarawa crises, it is only a defense of external attacks which always meets them in their own domain.

Q13. Has Al-makura thrown off the cultural and ancestral beliefs of the Gwandara tribe where he hails from? Why starts with the Eggons, so that the Eggon will lose their history and replace with that of Hausa- Fulani, no wonder names of some Eggon communities are been change into Hausa so that latter they will claim ownership.

Q14. Al-makura, the world want to know is the guns used by the policemen truly Police guns or guns from elsewhere?
Q14. The Governor calls Eggon nation Gunmen, Militia, Cultist. Can Al-makura present any document that the Eggon people ever wrote to him demanding a curse that warrants the Eggon to fight for? Or can Al-makura point out a single Church or Mosque that the Eggon people bunt down in a bit to fight for a
curse?

Q15. Is creations and upgrading of Chiefdoms parts of democratic dividends? Nasarawa has about 18 tribes why did’nt Al-makura upgraded only the existing ones and among all the tribes? Why creating
new ones? Where has been the origin of newly created ones? On whose land would be settling and under whose kingdom would they be? Would accept to be under the original owners of the land or
they would want to fight to conquer?
Why selected few tribes?

Q16. Would the newly created chiefdom now carry Nasarawa identity or the identity of where they came from, or is Al-makura giving them dual state?

Q17. Why should there be a spark of unrest by the Governor himself after all the ethnic groups had come together and agreed for a ceasefire for over a month now? This could also be a pointer that he either masterminded the earlier ethnic crises or he is not happy with the ceasefire.
The Eggon people have no reason to fight for a curse yet because things are naturally falling in place; it is the fear of time and chance that these things are happening. As the Eggon nation waits patiently there is no basis where they are tagged or call with several names calling for sympathy from the Federal
Government intervention in other to wipe out the Eggon race, if done then Al-makura’s hidden agenda is fulfill.
We pray God to give Federal Government and every reader of this piece a discerning spirit to study the intricacies of Nasarawa crises and find a lasting solution to it where peace shall reign.

In conclusion, the Eggon nation condemns in strong terms the ugly situation that happened on Tuesday and also sympathizes with the families of the deceased on both the side of the security agents and
the Eggon members that were also killed by the security men.
No Eggon person is happy with the sad incident, we also employ the Federal Government to investigate into Nasarawa crises and get to the root of the matters independently without the interferences
of the state government.

Nobody cares who or what these people are.

The fact is all these little, large or medium groups should stop disturbing people with their petty or major grievances which lack beginning, end and coherence.

Any group which isnt happy with nigeria should pack their bags and migrate elsewhere, after all, did your forefathers not migrate to your present location from somewhere?

Ghana, kenya, tanzania, south africa, gambia, cameroon etc are all more developed than nigeria, why not move to those places.

Regardless of anything , you do not kill a constituted authority like a police officer. The officer did not choose to be there. If the fulanis are the newcomers and usurping power , talk with other minority groups and use your superior numbers at the ballot.
There are no excuses for violence against the state or any individual .be you boko haram, mend ,cattle herders,OPC,massob or eggon militia.by the way, I am not a fan of the sitting president and will not vote for him in 2015 but I will support him if he decides to put all these groups in their places .
The eggon crisis can be used as an excuse by demented individual to take over government .what if the new regime supports the status quo in nassarawa .your life becomes even harder.
Your duty as a human being and citizen is to fish out the perpetrators.
As bad as this government is, it is still better to live in a pseudo democracy than in a military state. It is also better to live in a state of peace than in a state of war.
That is my kobo for those beating the drums of war. You do not know what you are wishing for.
