the surprising thing is that PHCN just finished constructing a sub station there, in fact that was when that road got worse no thanks to all the heavy duty trucks who brought in equipment during the construction, PHCN is partly responsible for the present state of that road cos it was not too long that the Public works corporation did some maintenance work in some roads in Omole Phase 2. am glad with this publication. |

slim fit : Normally you inform your LG councillor first before you ESCALATE the problem to the chairman and state house of assembly legislator representing your constituency. It is sad that after 14 years of "progressive opposition" in power at Alausa house the provision of BASIC services is still a challenge. Yet the same failed state administrators know how to play propaganda by calling out the FG for not maintaining/ repairing the roads under its jurisdiction. You must not always wait for the government Na this kain attitude dey make government do gbajue (chancing) of their ELECTORATE. Why should they "come together and fix it" AFTER paying taxes directly and indirectly to the state government and LGA? Please tell us why Ordinary to keep the gutters on the sides clear and cut the grass REGUALRLY by engaging some youth on MINIMUM wage from the area is too much for the "progressives" to think about. Yet we cry youth unemployment. It is these BASIC things that make a society better from the ground up. Not the over-priced shiny onfrastructure toys being concentrated in high brow areas. No wonder Lagos metropolis is one of the worst cities to live in the world. SMH. 2 Likes |

In as much as it’s the government’s responsibility to provide basic infrastructures, Nigerians should also learn to contribute. Some road damages can be prevented or ameliorated if the citizenry help maintain a clear drainage |
