yes, they are married, because he could have borrowed the money to do another thing, so,what he used the money for is not really relevant but his willingness to pay back when he has the money is the most important thing.

Well as far as am concerned they are married,as long as the man handed the bride price to the brides family with his own hands. Waitin concern ppl with either he borrowed it or stole it,its just like a woman sponsoring 90 percent of the wedding.afterall whatever belongs to her belongs to her hubby and vice-visa. All the need is perfect understanding,love,commucation and trust,above all God to have a long lasting happy home together.

And I hope the wife isn't hoping or pestering her man for a refund? He should return it once he has but if not,the wife should just bone if and live happily jare. No big deal
