The sun rises.

The illusion you call reality,
the white you call black,

the very fears that fall kings,
seen her battle demons,
faceless and without names.
With the grace of an empress,
she holds sway,
living through death,
making the difficult seem pleasurable,
and banishing evil.

My silence breaks,
I have been blind,
