gbrookes02: There is no difference at all. When Muhammad was in Mecca in his earlier days he said , "There is no compulsion in religion" but in his later days in Medina he said fight and kill the infidels which is everyone who is not a Muslim. He said do jihad against the infidels. Why could a religion lead followers to contradiction and confusion? The gospel truth of the messages of the cross by Jesus never leads believers to confusion. While on earth Christ endured and bore suffering and condemnation on behave of sinners, yet without any fault found in him. The Bible says, Hebrews 12:3 ; “consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your mind“ if the word of God is thoroughly followed such as written in the Bible I wonder where violence comes from. |

zetdee: The website you are quoting was created, funded and promoted to misrepresent Islam. Hence, you are only proving my point that you are abjectly ignorant about Islam. You can start removing yourself from such ignorance by picking up a copy of the English translation of the Qur'an with commentary and studying it. |

The Question is, "Is Boko Haram and Islam the same?" Let's take a look. 1. What is BH fighting for? Last i checked, they were fighting for the Islamization of Nigeria. Does that imply they are funded by anti-Islamic organisations to do this? I think not. They are fighting for Islam (a Jihad.) 2. The Islamic leaders in Nigeria, have they come out in public to disown and disassociate themselves from BH? No. Last i checked, the Sultan of Sokoto, the Pope of Muslims in Nigeria, sought for "amnesty" for the group. Is that not support for the group? 3. Is there any other 'religion' so associated with terrorism? No. Check the middle-east, check africa. Abeg, make we leave mata for matthias joor. |
