The only take home I see in this match is that we don't have a scorer. At best, Ideye remains our best bet. I guess Keshi wanted to try his luck on Ujah but the guy could get out of bed for 90 mins. This is a one goal team without Emenike and Moses. My advice to Nigerian fans is to lower their expectations of the Confederations Cups because, we do not have a finisher to prosecute the tournament.

Syenite: We still top the table. We need to avoid a defeat against Malawi in Calaber to qualify for next round. NOW LET US WATCH CONFEDERATIONS CUP JARE. AFRICAN FOOTBALL DON TIRE ME.

So these clowns couldn't score three goals on a good pitch smfdh.

And they had to wait for a dubious free-kick and an error from the GK to get a goal

Interesting shiit, I tell ya.

Hope the golden boy was not injured in the match. i can't wait to see him dazzle with other eagles at the confed cup. MIKELLLLLLLLL
Re: Namibia Vs Nigeria W-C Qualifier: (1 - 1) On 12th June 2013 by chizzobah: 10:00pm On Jun 12, 2013
I think we need to sharpen out attacking line. Mikel did a yeoman's job at the midfield, he is really very valuable to this team. Our defense line loses brief concentration intermittently and this should be worked at too. But most importantly, we need a striking force. We currently don't have strikers in that team. It is not enough to teach people how to shoot, you need natural strikers in the team. If not for the freekick, we would have easily lost this game that we had in our hands! I am really disappointed at the scoreline. sad angry

U must be silly...how can you be satisfied with mediocre results?...If we have Emenike and Moses I believe we can defeat spain but this present team will lead us to the claws of defeat

BabaAlabi: I am happy that Namibia scored first...Keshi needs to realize that we need adequate replacements for emenike and moses because right now I see us going nowhere in the confed cup...We can even call Yakubu or Odemwingie just as a trial

Honestly I prefer the YAK or MARTINS upfront to what we saw today.

But we should be able to nick a draw against Brazil, though.

That Brazilian team isn't all that and Neymar is overrated as fvck.

Almost all of them are overrated - nothing special.

Though it's late but he should have called Micheal Eneramo and maybe give Ike Uche another chance to show his mettle once more in these qualification matches. I heard Ike Uche picked up during the close the season.

If I were Keshi, I would move Sunday Mba to the top striker position and replace him with John Ogu in the midfield.
