The Minister of Information, Labaran Maku, has
said that the only achievements the regime of
Governor Babatunde Fashola has recorded in
Lagos in his 6 years of leadership has been in the
area of environmental sanitation. He made this
disclosure at the 2013 ministerial briefing on the
transformation of the road sector in Nigeria, being
part of activities marking the mid-term
achievements of the administration of President
Goodluck Jonathan. Commenting on the
development in Lagos state, Maku alleged that
Governor Babatunde Fashola has not done
anything significant and spectacular than “mere
environmental sanitation”. He further stated that
80 percent of the taxes collected in Lagos were
derived from the federal infrastructure being put
in place in the state. “Lagos State particularly,
that is where we have some of the criticism. You
know more than I do that Lagos lives essentially
on federal infrastructures.

Assuming Maku is serious with his ignorant statement, Lagos is doing one plus thing than Nigeria then because that country is dirty as fcuuuuk.

Lagos and Aba are in the same category of dirty cities. We know when it rains many parts of Lagos are usually flooded for days.

For me Fashola is trying, but when it comes to clean cities Lagos name cannot be mentioned. Everyone knows this to be true except bigots.
