In my honest opinion, Ojukwu knew he could listen to only one man and in fact listened to only one man. That man is Awolowo.

The moment young Ojukwu decided to divert from the advises he got from Awolowo, he made the wrong decisions. The men who surrounded Ojukwu were evil, treacherous and greedy beings like the same people surrounding Jonathan today.

Nnamdi Azikiwe betrayed Nigerians in general when he went on his "health trip" for months when the nation was boiling.

I have come to understand Ojukwu now more than ever, I have to say, Azikiwe betrayed him and instead put his (Azikiwe) own personal ambition ahead of what Ojukwu envisioned for his people. The young Ikemba needed strong elderly figure in his approach to things and that was simply the job of Azikiwe. In MY OPINION, Azikiwe was envious of Ikemba's rise as the leader of Igbos. Ojukwu is a natural leader but one whose only sin is arrogance(The most common of any young and intelligent beyond their peer folks).

The men my eastern/Nigerian brothers should be calling their public lynching are those greedy and inhumane murderers that surrounded Ojukwu including the opportunist called Azikiwe who abandoned his delegates in France to jet off to England begging the "queen" to help him get his properties in Lagos back.

Ojukwu didn't betray Igbos, Ojukwu himself was betrayed. Azikiwe who created the scenario that led to a coup which led to war ran away. Azikiwe is the original betrayer.

Who advised Ojukwu to attend the Aburi conference? Where in da hell was Azikiwe? All the policies Ojukwu wanted for Nigeria were what Awolowo had envisioned and written down in the 1940s. Where was the opportunist Azikiwe?

Azikiwe betrayed southern unity to send Awolowo to jail. He, Azikiwe did this alongside his northern masters in crime (Ahmadu Bello and Tafawa Balewa). Azikiwe and Ahmadu Bello made sure they divided the Western region in the name of "minorities" while keeping their own regions in tact like there were no minorities in their regions? In fact the only region minorities were ruling alongside the majority was western region. Azikiwe feared Eboh (a then westerner) would take over his party. Any coincidence that Eboh was also killed in the 1966 coup? Azikiwe, Ahmadu Bello and Tafawa Balewa ruined Nigeria for the coming generation. Ojukwu and Awolowo were just caught up among greedy, intellectually corrupt and psychotic beings called Azikiwe, Ahmadu Bello and Tafawa Balewa. May their souls rest in peace (Azikiwe, Tafawa Balewa, Ahmadu Bello, Awolowo the sage and Ikemba the great)!!

Hopefully their tenure is over oo... Because some of the loyalists of Azikiwe's northern masters are creating problems for Nigeria in the North while the loyalists of Azikiwe in the east are pretending to be loyalists of Igbo's true leader(Ikemba the great)

so if it was an igbo judge against an igbo man, the judge would vindicate him? No wonder you people are so heavily behind the corrupt stella oduah.
