However, immediately, the very people that voted said no, no, no, we are going to walk out. Oshiomole may not be a saint but he remains one of the fearless and outspoken politician in Nigeria who doesn't need to kiss the arrse of the emperor and his gangs of kleptomaniacs who would rather deceive Nigerians with their support for Rule of Law but go back to exhibit their anti-democratic tendencies within themselves. It's a shame that Nigeria after over 50 years of independence cannot conduct an election between two people with a mere 35 voters under Emperor Jonathan .I have to admit that a despotic IBB conducted a better national election in 1993 than a democratic Jonathan regime that couldn't conduct an election with just 35 voters. Democracy beside the little freedom Nigerians enjoy have not prove to be a success to Nigeria since the various institutions that define its concept such as constitutionalism, separation of power and Rule of Law are just theoritically perfect but practically, they are nothing to be proud Of ! Democracy in Nigeria is a government of the rich by the rich and for the rich because the real people have been exempted from democracy ! 1 Like |

You governors should lead by example,How many governor obey the directive of labour concerning minimum wages? Why not open election? It is always advisable to conduct an open election if people that are involve are not more than 150. Even You said some governor said No, No, No, so they believe there was a foul play,If it were to be an open election everybody would have no choice than to agree with the result. |

Why is Amaechi so desperate about sticking to that position. The chairman has always emerged through consensus. He uses it to rub shoulders with the president. That's why seriake dickson said the NGF is not for personal aggrandizement. Most Nigerians have fallen in Love with the president that's why these currupt govs insisted on secret ballot. Let amaechi call for a meeting now let nigerians know their enemy. If Amaechi were to be humble he would have had the support of his brothers but his pride have made him align with the presidents enemies in order to show his power. Let him keep flexing muscles but he should know that the ultimate power belongs to the people who are feeling the impact of the transformation agenda and not a bunch of govs seeking their personal interests. |

~Bluetooth:was it jonathan that conducted the election. Jonathan conducted an election of ove 160mil nigerians and it was judged internationally as credible even state elections have been perfect but Amaechi cannot conduct election among 35people and u blame it on jonathan. We all know what happened in rivers gov election where military intimidation was widespread so stop being sentimental |

The fact that the chairman has always emerged by consensus doesn't make it democratic because consensus itself is not a principle of democracy as people are not allowed to exercise their franchise. This issue is not about Amaechi but the progress made by Nigeria towards the entrenchment of democracy and the rule of law which the whole world is carefully monitoring ! |

We should strive to say the truth atleast for the intrest of democrasy, If we think the man is 4rm our village and we just blindly endorse all d wrong he does, we should remember that another man from another village will also get there and his wrong and injustice may also be endorsed. While i'm not anti jonathan, i'm anti bad governance and for now he is repeating d evils of his predecesors we all claim to hate. 1 Like |

I always admire Gov Adams for his fortress and saying the true when it matters most.I am glad he has had the moral courage to come out and state what happened. He could well be a suitable candidate for president. GOD bless u. But even at that, Oshiomhole is good at talking democracy when it suits him. When the ACN held primaries for the Edo Central Senatorial seat which Matthew Urhoghide was known to have won. The result was never released till date yet the name of the runner-up, Uzamere (who decamped from PDP), was sent to Abuja as the ACN candidate. And Oshiomhole has refused to explain why till date nor to order the release of the said primaries nor to explain why the party was able to forward the name of a candidate chosen from a primary election the result of which has remained a secret. |

I VOTED RETARDEEN IN 2011. AM I ONE OF THE ENEMIES? OR DO YOU MEAN Jonathan IS THE PRESIDENT OF HIS OWN ENEMIES? GROW UP AND OUT OF MUMUISM. |
