Well, it is still not working. I wonder if someone else here has had some success with this?

"Reboot into recovery mode"...i choose "OK" then it just restarts the phone without any action. I downloaded one from xda that gave an error while restarting, that is the closest i've come!

I guess u hav to create scatter files with MTKDROID to manually port CWM recovery. Must take pre-causion in processing it and can only be processed with a computer.
I'll create a scatter file 2day and upload it later in the afternoon. I dnt hav a Gionee E3 here with me. So be patient.

Any launcher of ur choice.
CWM is more or less a manual recovery mode. Custom roms are roms taken 4rm another phone with different UI and more stable abilitie to giv ur phone a premium feel(Speed, CPU and GPU optimization, better battery backup etc...) u can get a better idea on GOOGLE. Just type what is CWM Recovery, What are custom roms.

More and more developers are springing up in tweaking this phone for maximum userablity.
The "SO CHINESE" is just a tweak on the stock android but u can start with a better launcher for a cool UI experience.

but data on by default in infinty rom

USE THIS CWM IF THE PREVIOUS DID NOT WORK 4 U.

VERY EASY TO ACTIVATE.
JUST GET ANOTHER ANDROID PHONE AND THETHER THE WIFI HOTSPOT. MAKE SURE THERE'S AN ACTIVE DATA SUBSCRIPTION ON THE OTHER DEVICE.
