Speaking for the first time since the leadership tussle that divided the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Chairman of Northern States Governors’ Forum (NSGF), Governor Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, has stated that governors elected and recognised Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, as the authentic chairman of the NGF.

He stressed that Ameachi was dully and properly elected in a free, fair and transparent election.
Aliyu stated this yesterday while speaking in Bida at the turbaning ceremony of his Deputy Governor, Ahmed Ibeto, as the Wali Raya Kasar Nupe, and the state’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Honourable Abduraman Enagi as Sardauna Ayuka Nupe by the Estu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar as part of activities to mark the Nupe Day.
