After becoming President, he forgot about people who were not part of his party (Islamic Brotherhood). He gave coveted positions to Islamists and oppressed others. He also cared less about the minorities like the Coptic Christians! So when the military took over, many looked the other way, expect the Islamic Brotherhood! For Al Sisi, it was a perfect timing and a perfect opportunity! |
