The comparison should be between bmw 7 series and Jaguar s-type. I would chose the s type Jaguar( the V8, 4.0 engine) over the BMW 7 series any day. |

Not sure where things r these days but I feel a better comparison will be btw the 04 BMW745 and the jaguar XJ or XK of same year. I av driven the XJ (as loan car for my 911) and a friends 745. Very posh ride in both. The 745 just edges it for me but the Jag makes u feel like a Royal. Never driven the XK except racin against them at silverstone. The XKR matches my Porsche 911 all around silverstone track. Real pain in my mirror! Good old days S type and X_type r mondeo league my ppl. Not much better/higher in status than a 3 series or 5 series at best |
