You know i was just sitting down and saw a pic of Al Mustapha, making his first consultation at the abode of the prophet Tb Joshua, and then i began thinking deeply and critically, of the much heated atmosphere of our political clime at the moment, been drawn between the north vs south for power or as some will say christian vs Muslim.
the north has said that since the advent of the democratic setting, it hasn't had a fair share of power in the much celebrated democratic dispensation in holding the highest office of the land, and it short sway in power was cut short by what some see as a conspiracy sort of arrangement by some highly placed people in some quarters to balance up power to involve the ND region who were beginning to agitate for self determination.
Over the 14 years up till now of supposed representative democracy, the issues of north/South dichotomy has always been made more clearer during times of elections or during times of great peril and fiscal distribution where by each side claims and makes counter claims for more participation and sympathy. Today we now have 6 geopolitical of which makes the competition more rowdy and bitter.
The personality of the man known as Gen Muhammad Buhari, has been one that has united, divided as well as brought about a lot of debate within the political climes of Nigeria, as to if he deserves or not to man the affairs of Nigeria as the president and c-in-c, he has contested several times on the platform of various parties of which he has lost and engaged in some of the intriguing court battles,Buhari who has overwhelming support in the north and patches of support in the south has been the focus of subject of debate lately in response to his supposedly quoted statements of violence and hard line political incitements, as an old war horse, whom some see as unable to unite Nigeria, because of his alleged religious sentiments, the north seemed helpless to put forth a candidate whom will represent a national identity devoid of regional affiliation. Just yesterday the erstwhile c.s.o to the former military head of state Gen Sani Ababcha, Maj Al Mustapha was released from prison, after 14years of incarceration for his alleged involvement in the death of kudirat and attempted assassination of Mr Ibru, Al Mustapha, a gadfly as he is known to be, was been haunted by various interest who saw him as knowing too much and a flight risk to their selfish interest in Nigeria. Mustapha known to have been a very energetic and charismatic personality, he was a strategist if not the man behind the scene during the Abacha days, a very charismatic individual, who was instrumental in creation of some states among which is the home state of the president, Bayelsa state, he is one of the few soldiers who are of the socialist school of thought, and state welfarism, given the massive poverty rate in Nigeria, which is disproportionate with our huge oil earnings, he is young, energetic and smart, and i think it is high time that Gen Buhari call it quits in partisan politics to give way for a new breed of younger and more energetic contestants who will bring about the much needed political and social development needed for out nation Nigeria.

My brother not as if i am campaigning for him, i am just trying to look at things rationally, you called him a murderer but there you have it, the law just cleared him, i wont want to get into the details of that, what i am trying to point out is that there is need for a sort of systemic revolution in the political space to end the reign of the old guard and bring younger visionaries , who have the wherewithal and guts to show and prove their mettle before yesterday the political scene has been filled with the like of the old guard, but with the release of Mustapha now, there will be a systemic disengagement of these old fat men, who have rather divided us than united us. Don't forget its a democracy, and also if you still insist he is a murderer your opinion, you are entitled to it, but remember that in positions of leadership, Niccolo Machiavelli talked about the 'problems of dirty hands' to be a leader you must at one point get your hands dirty, either for your personal preservation or on behalf of the state, because this is what is seen to be virtue

You should have at least let the young man show his interest before campaigning for him. The man having spent 14good years behind bars should at least thank God sit somewhere and watch happenings in the country, spending the money he had saved all this years and not dambling into politics to avoid another 14years. The fear of Nigerian politics is the beginning of wisdom.

If Al-Mustapha decides to contest today, I will vote for him.

He's better than some old worn out, self-conceited, vain aspirants

When I said it yesterday that the first thing he would do was to pick a PDP ticket, some guys here were abusing me. Now he has already recruited a lone wolf to start an online propaganda.

Welcome Laptop-01: goodluck recruiting another 39 members to your crew.
