I've come to this conclusion based on the volume of anti-jonathan posts that are making it to the frontpage and this has increased in intensity over the past 7 days for reasons I'm yet to fathom. It's either that the mods are sympathetic to the anti-jonathan course or that Nairaland is a political tool that is now being used by the opposition to spread propaganda. Any post that insults PEJ or berates GEJ now makes the front page. If you are in doubt just take a look at the front page and you will see that 90% of the threads from the political section that makes the front page are critical of Jonathan. Please, I demand an explanation. This is supposed to be a fair and balanced forum, but recent happenings have proved otherwise. Is it that Seun or a huge chunk of the mods have a political agenda?

Why do nigeria newspapers used screaming news as their headlines? Those kind of news always generate interest because everybody want to know what is going in this country and nairaland always source their news from there.

GEJ is the president of this country, nigerians don't have to discussed about GHANA president here. Most of the news from the presidency or GEJ and his wife has always hit the front page, which is a sign of respect to them. but the negative reaction or comment toward his policy from nigerians had make it to look as if the MOD are biased toward GEJ according to you.

The answer to your question is simple economics. Nairaland is a business and any thread that would generate traffic would hit the front page. You don't need a degree to figure that out.
Same reason why football threads hit the front page. It's all about traffic. If you want a site that promotes GEJ, you can start one.
