Auction value and market value are not the same. If govt sells through an auction house, the govt must take a huge cut cos auction is cash and carry business or they can put it on the market and it might take years to sell and cost maintenance and upkeep would be accruing

Yes, I know all about auction. But the fact remains that pouncing on the guy's property is a little too aggressive. To make it worse, all these were done in the guy's absence. . . It's not right.
