you are uneducated. under international law, nigeria has no sovereignty . And it should not be part of the united nation. The Queen did not give nigeria sovereignty because sovereignty was in the hands of the protectorate. And they refuse to give nigeria, their sovereignty . they were 3 protectorate. Musiwa is not as crazy as you people would like to believe. When Nigeria became a member of the UN in 1960, she was indeed not a sovereign state. The country gained independence from the British government on Oct. 1st 1960, and became a republic three years later in 1963.

As Musiwa stated, Nigeria should not have been admitted in the UN, IF only sovereign states are admitted. In principle, only sovereign states can become UN members, but because membership only requires the approval of the Security Council and the General Assembly, several sovereign nations are not members, and others who are not yet sovereign could be members (e.g. Nigeria in 1960).
