Why would OyO state government invest a whopping sum of 3 billion naira on the construction of a two lane 470meter carriage way in the hub of the city center that only okada and smaller vehicles can ply.whereas a four lane carriage way that is 620meters with adjoining road totalling 2.4KM built in neighbouring Ogun states cost 1.5 billion and its open to vehicles of all sizes and tonnage.

The interesting thing is that both bridges were built by the same chinese firm. While oyo state's bridge in mokola was built and a solid ground that of ogun on a slightly swarmpy area. What could have been responsible for the huge cost diffrentials between the two bridges. Both were built about the same time. Give or take 5months in between.

Could it be the standing lambs and the rugs layed under the mokola bridge that is to be blamed. Nairalanders what do you think.
