The crisis at the Rivers State House of Assembly on July 9, 2013, was the expression of deep-rooted political crisis occasioned by the alleged highhandedness of Rivers State governor Rotimi Amaechi and the perceived undue interference with the political and security structure of the state by President Goodluck Jonathan, his wife Patience and the national hierarchy of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), a Senate report considered and adopted at plenary declared yesterday. The Senate in its report also called on the inspector-general of police, Mohammed Abubakar, to “immediately” redeploy the commissioner of police, Rivers State command, Mr Joseph Mbu, since, according to the federal lawmakers, “his relationship with the governor has broken down irretrievably”.

GEJ needs to find himself because he is so lost in his ambition to comeback as president come 2015, he keeps embarrassing himself and the office he occupies. My question is why is he channeling his energy to fighting a state Governor when there are major issues at hand to address namely: Power, Education,Infrastructural development.....etc, GEJ should retrace his steps and work for the well being of the nation rather than playing childish politics, yes OBJ did same to Alams and succeeded but one thing GEJ should know is that him & OBJ have different personalities while OBJ prefers to be feared than to be respected GEJ prefers to be respected rather than to be feared.

World Bank indicted his government, the US government did the same, now the senate has indicted GEJ. If these don't open his eyes, I don't think anything will. The problem he has are the people around him (including Patience), they keep pushing him closer and closer to his end.
