yea they do, they have like 6 challenge events: Beach Fashion, Talent, Sports, Top Model, BWAP and Multimedia Award. They also have preliminary interviews and stuff so it is quite a competitive event.

caribchic: I have to agree with cameroonpride here..european countries also have people of colour yet it is very rare they send up delegates that are not white. Therefore they should not send up european women to represent africans in a beauty pageant...don't kill me its just my opinion.

Miss South Africa is not white but coloured. I disagree. She is still South African at the end of the day so she can go and represent her country just like half cast are able to go and represent their countries too.

The English (and Brits in general) aren't that bad looking imo. I should know, I live in England!
However it's one of the few countries where the men are much better looking than the women!

1. southern Europeans( Greece, italian, Spanish, Portuguese)

2. Eastern europeans( Russians, I mean the slavic

3. Scandinavians

4. Western europeans

I don't think any African contestant will make first three
