A speeding car belonging to the Presidential Escort Unit on Saturday hit and killed a mother and her child, along the Northern By-pass in Nairobi. According to Standard, the vehicle was headed for Ruiru, when the accident happened near Githurai. According to witnesses, the vehicle was speeding. The driver and three passengers sustained injuries and were taken to hospital.
