To The Lazy Readers, Just Read The Bolded Parts! MY TAKE: Fashola knows what he's doing!! He's 100% On-check!! Igbo ppl shld stop being tribalistic and view this issue like a Nigerian. Stop playing cheap politics. Besides, Lagos won't be the first to transport ppl to their states instead of causing havoc to them selves by getting raped under the bridge, being introduced to Gang (robbers),, being used for rituals... and not causing havoc to the society by polluting it. It is done in US.. So why crying out lord for God's sake?? I thought the Northerners were the one holding us back, i was wrong!! New York City, Baton Rouge and San Francisco have all tried similar programs. New York City implemented its version in 2007, flying more than 550 homeless people back to their families in places like Paris, Orlando, and San Juan (the most popular destination), according to a 2009 article in the New York Times. Homeless advocates vehemently opposed the scheme. “What we’re doing is passing the problem of homelessness to another city,” Arnold S. Cohen, CEO of Partnership for the Homeless, told the Times. “We’re taking people from a shelter bed here to the living room couch of another family. Essentially, this family is still homeless.” Read The Full Article Here http://newsfeed.time.com/2013/07/31/hawaii-offers-homeless-one-way-tickets-out-of-state/ |

I don't believe it; even if so, two wrongs don't make a right. Let's call a spade a spade, Fashola is dead wrong on this issue. It has serious ethnic undertone. |

kettykin: Why are they beginning to panic now that the clouds are beginning to gather My friend, let me be honest with you and this IS THE REAL TRUTH. Lagosians are not panicking. Lagosians are tired of igbos constituting as nuisance in our state Lagosians are at their happiest during Christmas and new year when you all go to your villages Lagosians have no problem with others especially Calabar people but have a lot with Igbos. That is the truth from an indigene of Lagos. If you think I am lying push this Ladipo issue further and watch what will happen. |

alj harem: Lagos should try secession if they are tired of being in Nigeria. Even that will not guarantee an Igbo free country for them. Basically anyone who is tired of seeing Igbos in Lagos State, including you, should take rat poison or jump in front of the Lagos-Kano train! Like we care! |
Re: Lagosians Were Once Moved (deported) From Akwa Ibom - PM News by aljharem(m): 10:43pm On Jul 31, 2013 |
PointB: Lagos is NEVER seceding without other yoruba states including Itsekiris get that. Whether we are tired or not is not the issue, the issue is how far can you push their tolerance ? Who really cares about the little baby rat ? but the issue starts when the rat is fully grown and it's appetite grows and start proving he is more worthy than the owner of the house. What does the owner do ? Try and eliminate it anyway possible either by using what the rat loves the most (food) to set a trap or simply crush it (anger the people). The choice is yours If you ask me, the best choice would be to try and avoid the owner of the house feel your presence in his house. 1 Like |

alj harem: You can form your own country so that you will have the legal rights and conditions to deport, or even murder, all Igbos in Lagos and take their properties. Don't be a coward, go ahead and secede from Naija. |

In other words,ACN the regional party does not care about National unity except retaliation. No problem, the dice is cast. We will see who will back down when yorubas are purged from the Niger-delta and the oil industry just like the militants wanted. |

LOL. These people ONLY and always use Niger Delta as a bargaining chip. What happened to your own state/region? I thought you all said there's so much oil for strategic reserve there? You have a place you call home, yet you refuse to go there. You don't even want to use your land and it's resources as a bargain i.e. we will remove all Yorubas from solomon111: In other words,ACN the regional party does not care about National unity except retaliation. |

solomon111: In other words,ACN the regional party does not care about National unity except retaliation. How come when anything involves the South East the first thing they throw forward is Niger Delta? Is it that you lots are too cowardly to fight your own battles? If Lagos wanted to reunite Niger Delta they know the way to Warri or Port Harcourt Once again nothing concerns Niger Delta with this, This is purely Ibos who were removed Anyway Lagos has a perfect relationship with the Niger Delta, You saw Fashola and Oshiomole Parleying, you saw Fashola and Amaechi, Even when Akwa ibom deported lagosians it was done with mutual understanding unlike for some people |

dayokanu:what is this nonsense you are yapping? When did amaechi "a drowning man"=Niger delta? Btw,what is the Niger-delta? Is the niger-delta not a collection of oil producing states which includes SE and SS states? You think if there is a mass purge of yorubas in the IMO state oil industry for example, it will not spread accross the niger-delta? Keep deluding yourself. And if this story is true,it means the SS themselves are not averse to the deportation of yorubas. So i urge ACN to stop this madness in their own interest. Don't start what you can't finish. #yoruba ronu. |
