This boy has blown his chance of breaking into the European scene before the world cup in Brazil next year. Nigerian players and their senseless ego! Mutiu Adepoju is pretty right. He has seen it all in Europe especially in Spain where he established himself. Who says he is an established player? He is living in fools paradise to fee that being part of the winning Nations Cup team will now make him in equal proportion to the like of Mikel, Moses, Drogba etc. He was ill advised and apportunity missed. He is good enough to go for the Trial at the Emirate and Wenger can refine him and make him fit into the Arsenal team. Moses rose through the ticks and thin to establish himself in the Premiership. He was shaped and bred at Wigan who were no league contenders for some seasons before Chelsea came calling. Pride goes before a fall and im simply disappointed with his approach and manner he has handled the matter. Well stay home on the the Sunshine!

The same dimwits that always have some pseudo-philosophical comment like "wait for your time" are busy making noise because the dude decided to wait for his time (the right time). Abeg leave him be. There are only 2 options for 3rd-parties in this matter: if you support him, you back him up with supporting words, if you don't, you shut the eff up.

How old was Oxlade Chamberlain before he was signed by Arsenal?
Theo Walcott was signed by Arsenal when he was not even eligible 2 play in the Premiership.
Could signings like Fabianski, Djourou, Chamakh, Cygan, Silvestre etc be compared 2 Obaobona?. Wenger has lost his eyes 4 talents, even wen he sees one, he allows emotions 2 be cloud his judgement.
If the likes of Real Madrid, Barçelona and Bayern München call Obaobona for trials, I'll understand though it may still not be proper. But not a club like Arsenal.
Arsenal is presently, among the least dominating clubs in europe. Worse still, their wage scale is nothin to talk about. Then such a club will ask an established player 2 com 4 trials. SMH in pity 4 not just the club called Arsenal but even her fans and shareholders.

Since kolo toure did not go through trials before he joined arsenal, I see no reason why oboabona should undergo trial before he is given a contract.

Kolo Toure was signed into Arsenal Reserve team where he played as a Striker and emerged as top scorer in the reserve team. Hence, Kolo Toure did not join Arsenal senior team from Asec Mimosa as you are thinking.

What a fool. This could have opened up doors for him. What a shame. He is not a player in demand, or a well known player. Nigerian league is rubbish anyway.

Kolo, Yaya and Ebuoe was brought over by Wenger from Ivory Coast and placed them in a Belgium club but took Kolo to Arsenal as a WINGER not striker

Now tell me has he have another option?

BizBooks: Quoting Victor Ikpeba

Apart from Gervinho, how many other African players play for Arsenal? In case you do not know,
every black player on that team is from France.

dont mind the poropo, 95% of french guys are racists.
why wont he offer sunshine a small amount he is known for an amount he wont regret even if the guy fails.
wenger is a racist retteeerrrdd, make your papa play on trials when he is stopping drogba that disgraced your defenders in the 10/11 season.

yeye man.

Nigerians sabi lick oyibo nyash, you guys dont have shame, do you think wenger will shake him that he is exceptional after the trial?

he will simply lure him to have a taste of what it feels like to play with arsernal then offer him crumbs in the end, still seize him to miss world cup to ensure he doesnt leave.

these french men are fucktards

tdade: Errm... Eboue, Kolo Toure, Gervinho, Lauren, Charmakh, just to name a few!

Wenger has just kicked Gervinho and Chamakh out of Arsenal. This means that Arsenal may not
have an African player this coming season. So they received the same treatment as Kanu, Eboue,
Adebayor, Toure etc. Do you still think he has a lot of respect for African players?
