Till tomorrow some people will talk of Ibb(abi who again) forcing Nigeria to join OIC. But would close their eyes at this.

It is a good development. Hopefully the funds wont be diverted into personal accounts.

Its a pity that some almajiris still believe lies their fathers told them. Lies like we fed the whole nation with groundnut. Take a minute, think about that and laugh at yourselves.

The Retardeen has failed again. OBJ took us out of debt now we're heading right back into it. He'd definitely lose 2015

How do they intend to pay off these loans? If our resources are properly managed, do we need to borrow like this? Money lost to oil theft alone is enough to build these infastructure. Truly, we need an upright, God fearing leader that will rule with an iron hand and fight corruption.

What is there to laugh about. Countries without oil, are they not doing better us. Of what use is the oil if we still have to borrow to build infastructure.

I don't care about oil. But you didn't feed anybody with proceeds from groundnut. That is ridiculous. The records says otherwise. Your accounts was always in the reds. Your account is still in the red.

We sure need an upright man with a fist of iron cos the way these people are leading us, am not sure we can get to the eldorado

We are currently losing close to 150million dollars everyday to crude oil theft but to one's eternal chargrin,d GEj govt only just whines about it while criminally refusing to do anything about all the economic/militant saboteurs who are being paid billions of Naira as pipeline protection fees yet dis grand theft has not abated for even a second

Even the more than N1 trillion of fuel subsidy money criminally paid out to subsidy thieves have not been recovered yet GEJ prefers to borrow our tomorrow away

God just like u answered our prayers under the yoke of Abacha...pls deliver us from d burden of dis profligate taxmaster!

I thought the energy sector was up for privatisation. Why is the government turning it to a money pit. Why do they want to be referee and player at the same time. Those who saw the public telecom industry piggy bank vanish overnight will not allow the power sector slip through their fingers without a final milking.

The projects, according to him, are the construction of four new science secondary schools in Kaduna State worth $17,9m; construction of a 300-bed specialist hospital in Kaduna State at $43.15m; and the Zaria water supply project worth $81.0m.

Assuming 1 dollar = 160 Naira
Four Secondary Schools will cost $17.9m = N2.864 billion
Therefore, one secondary school will cost N2.864 billion divided by 4 = N716 million each

Please tell me what this school will contain to drive the cost of constructing just one secondary school to over 700 million Naira

A 300-bed hospital will cost $43.15m = N6.904 billion

Dear God, I hope it will be the greatest and most equipped hospital in the planet.

At least we can see the development in these countries and they do not have oil. How many other oil producing nations borrow like Nigeria. Besides, with the level of looting and corruption a good part of that loan will be wasted.
