They got absolutely wrecked

Also, that one Houthi wearing a helmet with a bullet hole through it grin grin grin

The Sudanese both N and S are some genuises! Bashir basically mortgaged his future development on S oilfields no longer in his possession and the Saudis can't pay much for his services what with the oil price being what it is. Anyone could've told him there was no future getting bogged down in a losing conventional and coin war in the Yemen.
Now look! Off in Khartoum his unpopularity Will worsen.
Mac bar has been paid to fight China which is what the New civil war was all about. The Dinkas overran an IDP camp after the UN peacekeepers stood by scratching their b all's and the female CIA operatives all needed a rape kit. They screamed in rage leading to the resignation of the Kenyan commander but it was the unworkable force structure. Fyi,the local commander ,oddly eniugh innthis case Chinese cant be ordered to do anything but only suggested.

NAF ACQUIRES SECURITY DOGS, TRAINS PERSONNEL OVERSEAS ON ADVANCED HANDLING TECHNIQUES
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) recently trained 12 personnel of its Air Provost Specialty in advanced dog handling techniques to enhance their proficiency in carrying out criminal investigations and other security-related duties. The 6-week advanced dog handlers' course was conducted at Braveheart Bio-Dog Academy in South Africa as a follow-up to the basic K9 training received at the Nigeria Police Force Dog Breeding/Training Centre Abuja. It is the first time in a while that NAF personnel would receive special training in dog handling at a reputable overseas institution.
Considering the security challenges currently being faced in the country, the newly acquired dogs, which have been trained to detect explosives, arms and ammunitions, narcotics as well as other substances, are expected to serve as a complement to explosive detection devices. The attendance of the advanced dog handlers’ course has further boosted the capacity of the affected NAF personnel and also exposed them to international best practices in the use of dogs for security purposes. It is recalled that human capacity development through robust and result oriented training for enhanced professional performance is one of the key drivers of the vision of the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sadique Abubakar.
The NAF Air Provost Marshal, Air Commodore Christopher Dola, represented the CAS at the graduation ceremony of the newly trained NAF personnel in Pretoria, South Africa on 20 May 2017 and has since returned to Nigeria.

You dont know Trump do you?

Remember when he threatened everyone with that Carrier group? You know... the carrier group that was no where near N.K and was actually on its way to Australia? Scared the poo out of everyone in the region and didnt spend a single dollar doing it.

I doubt there are subs anywhere near.

The guy is a master-persuader and extremely intelligent, continue to underestimate him and he will continue to win.

As for the leaks - I stop reading as soon as an artical says "anonymous source".
So what you are basically saying is that trump, the leader of a super power had to bluff just to scare off other poweraw? That should have been the 2nd last thing you do before the worst case scenario, now that he has burnt that bridge, next time he will be forced to take action in order for his threats to mean something...

Yes he scared the shit out of every sane person, except NK who have gone a head to launch more missiles on at least two more occasions....
I watch a CNN interview where trump was mentioned about MOAB in Iraq on two occasions, then the journalist asks trump,' you mean Afghanistan?' Then trump goes like, 'Yes!' I bet like most avg Americans he wouldn't be able to point where afgan or iraq is...

I know trump doesn't believe in the establishment with all its beaurocracy but at least the system has kept a relative world order, things like these need a policy agreed upon by concesus...not waking up in the morning and having a eureka moment the deciding that the next thing ...

Wow, I had no idea these were still in service, they were given to Algeria by France in the early 1970s less than a full decade after independence.

Algeria has so much modern equipment now like their upgraded BTRs and Fuchs that the comparatively obsolete M3s I thought for certain were long gone.

You have to admire an army that never throws anything away.

Truck mounted MLRS can share parts commonality with all the other utility trucks in service. It's simplifying logistics and reducing not only purchase cost but maintenance and parts cost too.

So if you have a low defence budget and say a fleet of preexisting Ural trucks, the BM-21 is a worthwhile piece of equipment to keep in service. Especially since it can deal effectively with anything insurgents or your even poorer neighbour can throw at you.

Of course, if you can afford better by all means buy better and more sophisticated systems, just be aware chances are they won't share parts commonality with all your other trucks and will be more considerably more expensive to operate and maintain.

add to this the immense fire power which can be directed at a generalized location from these grads , enough to saturate enemy troop / Armour concentrations with HE warheads / fragmenting warheads / cargo AT mines / cargo anti personnel mines / thermobaric warheads / incendiary warheads etc etc .
