"Thank You so much for your suggestions and concern, the ARA Project is currently going through test and modifications are made daily. The Ground clearance is fine, Its a Tatra Chassis specifically built for this design and it has passed the Gradient , slide slope and Ground Clarence Test in our testing track.

The compartments have been modified and reduced drastically, it is actually a mild steel with light weight and doesn't affect the hull in any way during blast.

the exhaust have also been modified after our fording test and little adjustment are made here and there before it is finally certified for operations.

I really appreciate your remarks,

Many thanks"

they were really careful with their choice of words. they didn't really say much. Maybe they dont want to let the cat out of the sack just yet.
I do think more adjustments would be made in due time. aesthetically and otherwise.

my main interest is the ballistic protection level. It would say a lot about our mettallurgic and fabrication level in-country.

Whats up with the white panels on the front of the nearest Oryx?

Second time I see the white panels, I'm not sure if it's the same Oryx. My take was they could be glass could be acting as temporal glass replacement since the birds are no longer in production, there's no off-the-shelf parts and the supplier may need a considerable order to produce again.

*That's the problem we Opel drivers will be facing since GM is kissing SA goodbye this year, we will kill for parts (No pun intended).

Has the smallest RCS doesn't mean a crazy APG won't detect it when fitted on an airliner before it sees an Airliner.

Man those are just specifications and doesn't mean it makes it better than others.

Better radar, what's the big deal with the radar it's carrying? We're talking about your own version here which also cost alot and not D, E, F.

You're just mentioning specifications telling me this has a better this and that without explaining how. That's the issue. Let me add more

A gripen has a better color.
Gripens has two vowels in it.
A gripen can fly.
A gripen is owned by few countries

So because of these , a gripen is better.
For the sake of this thread let's just agree to disagree.

Algeria bought from Russia TOS-1A

"Omsktransmash" delivered of the heavy flamethrower system TOS-1A to Algeria. Voyennoy.RF was told about by a source at the enterprise during the international military-technical forum "Army-2017".The purchase by Algeria of TOS-1A was also confirmed by a source in the NPO Splav, which creates ammunition for the rocket launcher system. He did not specify the number of units purchased.

the maghred Arabs have the constant fear of being invaded by each other right from the days of the Arab maghreb union.

No. You are not. You know you are not. Everyone knows you are not. Just accept small victories and build from there, instead of making fairytale claims. You are not suddenly going to leapfrog others stretching from Russia, Turkey to the U.S (and everyone in between) on your 1st attempt.

Rather say Proforce will deliver a MRAP that meets the requirements of the Nigerian Army and leave it at that.

egypt impossible , its for morocco wink , they tried to invade algeria after independency 1963 , and some of them still talk about the great morocco land ( include all western sahara , all mauritania , regions from algeria and Mali ) + the western sahara problem If one of their armored division crossed the border in pretending to follow the soldiers of the Western Sahara, it would be calcined on the spot

What's the blast radius and range?

range 600m to 6 km ,

The TOS-1 gained a uniquely nasty reputation because of the horrifying effects of its fuel-air explosive warheads (FAE). These are more destructive than napalm. A fuel-air explosive detonates the very air itself: a small explosive inside the FAE munition spreads a chemical cloud in the air through an aerosol effect. The gaseous cloud seeps effortlessly into buildings and caves, and down into slit trenches. A secondary explosive then ignites the cloud, causing a massive and long-lasting explosion. While the heat generated by FAEs causes lethal burns in a wide radius, the overpressure created by the sudden combustion of the air is even deadlier. The fiery blasts create a partial oxygen vacuum that kills and maims in a variety of grotesque ways and cannot be mitigated with body armor or hard cover. Victims near the center of a TOS-1 blast radius are crushed to death. Further out, the overpressure can break bones, dislocate eyes, cause internal hemorrhaging, and rupture eardrums, bowels and other internal organs. It also sucks the air out of victims’ lungs, possibly causing them to collapse, leading to death by suffocation

What makes a MRAP 100% battle ready and perfect?

List them and tell me if Proforce won't meet those standards. After meeting those standards, tell me how they are not one of the best.

You're just one ignorant man who just can't hide the fact that you hate reading good news from Nigeria. In a tech market, being new in the game doesn't mean you can't produce one of the world best. I hope you know that?

Chill ama school you. What's the difference between a university student reciting a multiplication table and a secondary school student? They're both perfect at it. Time means nothing.

In hi-tech, we've seen alot of new game changers.

You and your wacky opinions tho'.

A great Job. Thanks. Your extra mile effort have now put paid to amateur wannabe analysts who know next to nothing but want tell us they know better than experts in the field and experts in arms engineering. Just looking at the rubbish contention they were putting up about the ARA MRAP ground clearance made it condescending to respond. As u know there was no point responding to pain and envy in the first place.

Stop the pettiness! I expect better from u. Proforce ain't stupid, it's a professional organisation that do bids based on clients specifications. What is evident is that the ARA MRAP meets CT/COIN dynamics and can be upgraded depending on combat exigencies. What everyone knows is that the Nigerian Army is a battles tested Army to learn from. That's what Generals do not whine in contempt.

Nah, ain't gonna happen. Egypt don't have the capacity to win a war against Algeria and vice-versa. Such a war would end in attrition with long term economic and structural damage to both countries. In terms of proximity, Algeria's first geo-political foe is Morocco and not that a war is gonna happen either cos of external power pressures and allegiances, lack of appetite and what for in essence—not worth the cost. Terrorism is Algeria's contemporary threat and since there is no permanent friend or foe in this unpredictable world every odd century an imagined European re-conquest is the angst based on it's history.
