The man was never acting alone.He most definitely had cohorts.its a big shame that the police a clear picture of the hydra-headed monster (corruption) that bedevils our nation can not even clean its own house atleast this once.
What we need in the police is an internal affairs unit not answerable to the IG (preferably to the judiciary) to investigate,counter and check the excesses of the police all through its ranks. Then maybe we can have some sanity restored to that inept institution.

IMO, the police needs major restructuring in personnel, infrastructure and operations.the latter 2 can be done, the first! (Only God knows where we can deport thousands of hoodlums to). Having a headache already
