2013/2014 NNPC/MPN Undergraduate Scholarship Awards

As part of its contribution to educational development and human capacity building, Mobil Producing Nigeria (MPN) - operator of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC)/MPN Joint Venture - awards annual scholarships to qualified undergraduate students of the following disciplines in Nigerian Universities.

Petroleum Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Civil Engineering
Geology/Geophysics
Medicine (MBBS Only)
Agricultural Science (and related fields)
Computer Science


ELIGIBILITY


Candidates must be holders of the SSCE or its equivalent with at least six credits at one sitting
Applicants must be registered full-time undergraduates either in their 1st or 2nd year of study in any accredited Nigerian University


Students who are currently on similar scholarship awards from other oil and gas companies should NOT apply.

Applications not received by Thursday, 22nd of August 2013 will not be accepted.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. Shortlisted candidates should be prepared to take a screening test to be held on the 6th & 7th of September, 2013. Names of short-listed candidates for the qualifying test will be published in national dailies. Shortlisted candidates will also be contacted with details of the screening test via SMS text and email.
Employees of ExxonMobil subsidiary companies in Nigeria and their dependents are not eligible for this scholarship.

PLEASE NOTE: ExxonMobil Upstream Affiliates in Nigeria (Esso Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited and Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited) do not use placement agencies that charge scholarship applicants an advance fee of any kind (e.g. application fees, placement fees, test fees, etc.)
