Guys help, my MTN sim is running down my Note2 battery.

Is anyone experiencing this?

How do I fix this.

When internet connection z bad ur battery tends to drain faster nd dis is caused coz d phone is trying to re-connect always...MTN ve been having serious issues wiv their network of recent...hp dat helps?

Its not because of browsing, I turned data off. I changed the network to GSM ONLY still no difference. I even put the phone in FLIGHT MODE and still the battery drained fast.

Its different with my ETISALAT sim even with 3g and browsing.

I'm having problems with NFC. It doesn't seem to connect. I never had the problem when I was using the HTC One X.
Is anyone having problems connecting NFC with other NFC compatible devices?

All the features came with the rom DN3. Get to knw all you want to knw abat yur fone at XDA "android developers world". I have been running android 4.4 kit kat but because it's not TouchWiz, I hv 2 downgrade back 2 4.3 TouchWiz so I can enjoy all the Samsung features.

I got the OTA yesterday, so far the battery seems very good on 4.3, and phone appears faster. It comes with samsung knox but am scared of installing it. People are reporting performance issues after installing Knox security. So far so good if i may add. 4.3 equally supports dash board widgets as well, very cool.

Hi there. Yes you can write on the screen like on a notepad and it will capture it as text. You can even save as hand written text. The "note" series is truly a serious piece of equipment!

The battery is good. On Android 4.3 there is a lot of drain so you will need to upgrade to 4.4 or get one that is running 4.2.

Replacement batteries are available in computer village. Shouldn't be more than 4-5k I assume.
