Two months afta my POP on June 6th,got a job as a Driving Trainer,buh hopefully expectin to land my dream job soon or may likely open my Drivin School....

got a job 3 months/after service but left the job cos the pay was an apology,am now doing masters in U.I, since then man do dey pursue job while in sch o. Had a job interview some days ago, i really thank you all for the prayers and encouragement, it went well and there,s high hopes of landing the job.i luv my nairaland friends muaah

6months and still counting. Really going through financial crisis at d moment, life after NYSC is not easy @ all esp when there's no source of income. God is my strength shaa, hope is not lost. Forward ever, backward never!!!

What an interesting topic! I got my employment letter the day of My pop, it was a miracle no connection and luckily FG job, though the pay is not What I expect but I give glory to God. I believe every thing in life is destiny, may God favour those who are still searching.

Hmm!.. Got my first job(teaching) before going for NYSC. Though the pay was peanut, but, better than stayin idle.
Besides, the schOol and where I reside then, are in the same large compound.

Got the 2nd one(contract basis) 4months after NYSC through nairaland. The pay was GOOD within 4weeks of work.

Still on it..

at ope, hw do u defined ur own getting of job? because there so many jobs after service just dat they are under paid. Especially teaching job, because like me i got a job the next month i finished service. But me stil dey find job because my job after not paying me well. Teacher job. Ok, I have finished observing. A month before POP

1 month

I spent 22 months b4 getting a job. During this period, I got 2 professional certificates (1 foreign body and a Nigerian body) and almost got admission for M.Sc. I guess it took 22 months because i was 30 yrs at the end of NYSC and above 30 yrs a month after service. I got my first Job as a contract staff through Workforce mgt ltd and seconded to a bank. After about 2 yrs, I got a full-time job in another bank as experienced staff. I contributed to this topic to encourage those above 30 yrs of age. Pls don't look down on all contract jobs. I wouldn't have gotten a banking job as a full staff at 30 yrs as fresh graduate and no previous working experience if God had not taken me through Workforce mgt ltd. May God bless Workforce mgt ltd for being a good channel of my career successes
