Soreza: i wonder why men of God use tablet instead of bible,i ask myself is it that the bible is 2 heavy for them,or they assume the word of God(bible)is outdated that tabelt is modern,i still wonder wot example they give to their member,Simply(DUMP THE BIBLE FOR TECHNOLOGY)

I strongly and vehemently believe that you would 've condemned the conversion of the holy word of God from wood or stone-like tablet to paper type

I have been wondering going to church with my tablet instead of physical bible. Although I haven't tried it for once.

Now, I wanted to ask if Physical bible and bible in tablet equals the same, as in powers and miracles?

there's nothing to apologise about....
both are of the same value. the bible also went to the printing mill where it was printed(technology) - same as having it copied and coded into a gadget(advanced technology).

There's no difference, dude. The "word" is written both in the paper book and in the Bible app. Besides the Bible you carry must have been typed and saved in "soft form" before being printed. Now imagine it wasn't printed but instead inscribed into an app and installed in gadgets for convenience.. Doesn't get simpler than that.
As for the miracle aspect., well I only have one word to say - "Nollywood"..
If we are to go back to the way the books of the Bible were written, we'd be carrying raggedy old scrolls about .
The printing press used to popularise the Bible must have been opposed by blockhead conservatives at the time of invention.
Heck! Did you know it was illegal at a time to translate the Bible into any other language than Latin?
The world is progressing. If you don't follow such harmless trend , you'll definitely be left behind.

taking a tab to church isnt bad at all, in fact, you can achieve alot with it n tech savvy guys like us couldnt do without.

on the other hand, it comes with its short comings too:

basically

Distraction: it can distract both you and the people sitting next to you; the bright LCD light is ever eye catching to those sitting by. it can also distract you because you might just remember you forgot to send that important mail, then right there, you scribble the mail away while the msg is on going. a lot of types of distraction it comes with out there.

and secondly, theft....it can be stolen,,,,not every1 is in church with the right motives..drop it on the sit while you praying your heart out, and the next thing, it is gone...vanished

all all forms of electronic devices are not allowed in my church. must be turned off. sad

the only way is the old rugged bible way ! cheesy

you either come with yours or verses are displayed on the huge TV/Projector screens.... tongue

I prefer a regular Bible, seen peeps playing solitaire and other games on their tabs ,I think a tab is OK if it's only the Bible dats installed in it!.other stuff can distract even if its school work, important emails, and not to talk of dirty movies and circular jams innit! for such few hours dat you need to hear clearly from God thru his servant pls use the hardcopy! as someone pointed out, for study you can use all other platforms. some churches even project all stuff so there's hardly need to open anything except your wordbook for notes. Many cheap Android tablets abound in the market, I don't think it's cos they can't afford it but it's a matter of mental self-enslavement.

Pls where is casting out demon(s) with a bible found in the bible?I strongly believe we cast out demons or the the devils with the word of God in our mouth and not with a book.
It's worthwhile to state here that the word 'bible' means book so it could either be in a soft copy or hard copy

Angry Birds isn't the only way to get distracted in church, it's all about self control and your heart to be honest, using the technology we have for scripture purposes is perfectly fine in my opinion

God didnt tell moses to share the wood or stone to anybody,its just like a read and store in heart,from the new testament it have always been written,john worte,daniel wrote and ezekiel and as then is still the bible called scroll,do the research,imagine casting a demon and saying'it is stored in tablet that u must die,lol,no no,watch the words,FOR IT IS WRITEEN ALL POWER BELONGS TO GOD,BEAT IT

Note: tablet or ipad should neva b replacement but complement of the Holy Bible to abstain from temptation dat may want to ocur inside and outside the church. ALTHOUGH WE ARE IN THE WORLD OF TECHNOLOGY yet CARE MOST BE TAKEN. God bless!
