Muyesky, I am very impressed, as one of your follower, you are really my mentor. I know you do good job anyway.
Your Ijebu-Ode client should be very happy with windows.. they look real nice. I love those burglary built-in windows.
Keep up the good work.. The house look so different now. I love it, more pictures from other work, please.
Are your installer going to put the concrete fixing around the windows or his bricklayers will be doing that?

Next time, show your face like Oga Sypder does oh! Make we see the Oga-pata-pata-at-the-Top face.

Note: Don't forget my verandah burglary estimates oh! I dey wait for am.
Thanks.

Good evening Muyesky, first I must say well done...great work you are doing here...Each time I stop by at any of ur threads, they always have a way of motivating me.

Just an observation though, I noticed the house at Ijebu-Ode has not been plastered before the installation of the window, ofcourse I know its the owner's decision, I just want to say probably you should be advising your client to plaster first before installing windows and doors.

Sure you remember I told you about my project, my intention was to install windows and doors before plastering too, but both my In-law who is supervising the job for me and the site engineer object seriously, and after they sited some reasons I had to concur you know wink. One of the reason was that it will be neater if you install after plastering as you wont have much mortal staining or falling into the rail of the window when plastering.

So what he does was to have me made what he called sub-frame made of iron for the windows, which he fixed into the plastering. After plastering the windows would be screwed to the sub-frame.

Take for example, the house am staying here in the south, the person that plastered the house did a very bad job, some of my windows won't open, and some you don't even want to open in the night because of horn/noice that emanates as you closes or opens them, due to the loads of mortals that fell into the hollow of the aluminum during plastering .

I believe many people still prefer neat job e.g. Hajj Mufutau shocked.

Sorry if I couldn't really explain the way I should like you experts, am not in anyway close, I hope you will understand.

Plastering is now ongoing in my little cubicle grin. Hope to bring picture one day wink .

Thank you so much sir.
When you have plaster stains on your windows, that says a lot about the bricklayer you use. Ordinarily, during plastering we normally have those we call the clean up boys that wipes the casement with soft foam few minutes after plastering so you won't have to see those stains you complained about. In another senerio, nylon is always used to cover the frame befoer plastering.
In this case of burglary embedded casement, subframe cannot be used because the iron rod in the pipe needs to go straight into the blocks both up and down for firmness and security purpose. That's why we call it burglary proof sir and subframe will definitely not work here smiley
I feel you brother, so in a couple of days from now, I will be displaying the one we are installing in topic estate. That one is the more expensive and special ordered tower anodized casement. Its a casement that has the sub frame already installed as the house has already been installed. So, we will only be scewing the main casement to it because this one has and requires no burglary proof.
Hope this clarifies your observation and worries sir wink
N.B: please, observe the image of one of the windows of the house in question we are about to install the casement windows, the arrow points to the sub frame already installed. smiley

Nice one bro,
trust me, you are always onpoint.
And thank you for your understanding and the mature way you always respond to observation/comment/question.

Pls, here is a quick one, my bricklayer used 12headpan to 1bag of cement when plastering inside of the house, now, he's saying he'll be using 9headpan to 1bag to plaster outside. Is that ok, or I should insist he continue with 12 to 1
