The most logical reasons are that in medical school,you are so busy that the people you see around you most are your fellow medical students.It only makes sense that you are likely to pick a wife/husband from amongst yourselves.The other reason is that medical practice can be so demanding,you need someone who understands the demands and won't keep crying or complaining for attention so it makes sense to marry someone in the medical field too.

I think you v come across alot of Doctors that v married each other. This also happen very much in other professions. Large numbers of Civil Defense officers, Police Officers, Teachers, Witches & Wizards, Herbalists, Lawyers, Bankers do marry each other. What ll you say about that?
