The Police Command in Rivers said on Thursday that its men did not block the entrance leading to Gov. Chibuike Amaechi’s residence.

The command’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Angela Agabe, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Port Harcourt that the state commissioner of police did not give such order.

“I am aware that the state commissioner of police did not give such order to block the entrance leading to the governor’s residence.

“He did not do it and did not instruct our officers to do such a thing,’’ Agabe said.

Then name the men of the force who carried out that action without permission and discipline them accordingly or this statement is just hogwash.

If truly this policemen acted on their own then i'm not surprised. It's the consequences of seeing their boss embarrase the governor on a daily basis, also the free hand thy've been given. one day headlines will read "policeman slaps gov. Ameachi"

Their job was to stop EVERY trouble maker from accessing that already closed area. The Gov, and his Crowd of hundreds, qualify for that definition, hence their action. And they did it pretty well, in deed... Get it?

wow. Taharqa. Congratulations on your appiontment as the new commisiioner of police in rivers. Because apparently, you know more about rivers state police command orders than even the spokesperson who clearly state in the article that at no time did they order policemen to block the gates of the government house. But here you are telling us that otherwise. You are just too much.

Ameachi enjoys acting drama to attract sympathy.
His days are numbered.
