Keshi won us a trophy that we couldn't win in 18 years. Bonfrere Jo had his chance and couldn't win it either, so Keshi isn't all that bad. Yes, Keshi, just like any coach can always get better and are allowed to be rightly criticized but he is still the top man for the job. We are also on the verge of world cup qualification, so if we should judge Keshi based on result ( a parameter used to judge all coaches world wide), then he is doing well. With regards to tactics, FA can offer Keshi to choose any technical assistant of his choice if he think it's necessary. Tactics is vital in football but what is more vital in football is having hungry and talented players that are ready to die for you (the coach) and their country. This is what I think we have in this current team. The only thing letting our football down is our FA. That association needs to be disbanded and ex-players like Okocha and the likes should take charge. |

This man has a grudge with Keshi, nothing more than that. How can he suggest that Keshi is not being honest about his team selections? Check out the UEFA champions league this season, all Nigerians who will be playing in it: Ambrose, Mikel, Musa are already in our team. Do we have to continue inviting the likes of Martins and Yakubu forever? If Keshi is not honest about his team selection, and the team os still doing better than before, he should remain dishonest. 2 Likes |

We don't need to castigate jo for his comments.That is his own opinion and how he view the situation.There is a point in his statement concerning problem of NFF and sport ministry.we suppose to hammer on that issue seriously.I pray that Nigeria should qualify for Brazil 2014 but if opposite is this case,it is we nairalanders that start shouting "Keshi must go". |
