What's d use of creating cards,atm,blood group tinz for jobless student,..they will only create long queue at the atm trying to know how it works...no be person weh get income deh get money to withdrawplenty men go turn to armed robbery soon,make u na deh watch naija,dem ban okadada,student deh on strike,political leaders deh form confraternity,girls deh prostitute fully,students deh steal billions,garri price no reduce,cv don expire for ward robe,taste of alomo is getting different,rich kids r doing anyhow,limpopo crooner deh play for ig wedding,plenty men deh commit suicide wen no option deh,Mod deh ban anyhow cos of end time tinz,dog no bark again,if u hear sio sio,u must look outside cos u fit tink say na bird but na cow now don deh walk for power lines,ritualist everywhere,women are bleaching,guys r turning jigolo,fathers are raping daughters,men are drinking garri wit no sugar,money for new number plate na yawa,driver liscence na issue,dem no deh put sauce for some indomie again,girlsfriends don turn olonsho,to sleep for night na gbege,u wake up without nepa,billions is missing,400k barrels per day,how was ur own day?na dem way as it don tehh...

Hearme: Don't mind them with propaganda. Unilag had used this card about 3-4 sessions ago.
My almater used this type of card when i was a jambito and am out of the system, these ones are celebrating what? First of its kind indeed.

U mumu 4 wetin u talk,ask if u dnt knw...D first skol in 9ja 2 use e-payment na Poly Ibadan,it ws arnd 2003 and Yabatech issued ID card wit ATM card 4 sponsored by Oceanic Bank also in 2002.Now tell me where Unilorin dey as @ d tym in term of ds small technology.I really commend dia evot 2ward ds new innovatn and i believd it ws upgraded dan d formal but dnt proof dat Unilorin is d first here abeg

No! That's not true, I used similar card at YabaTech in 2004. We call it SMARTCARD. It was also later introduced in UNILAG in 2005. It carries your bio-metric: finger prints, etc.


Exactly my thought, Unilag has been using this type of ID since 2005 and it is powered by 1st bank.

Not first of its kind ooooooooo!
This idea was first introduced by 2 departments in the Faculty of Administration, Obafemi Awolowo university in 2005/2006. Eventually, Ecobank financed one of the departments while GTbank financed the other. The idea was brought up by 2 students from these two departments who were students presidents then, and they introduced the idea to these banks. First, one fo the departments approached then IBTC bank but the bank wasnt so sure. GTbank accepted it and it came to life. To God, I still use the free account that came with the ID card which was also an ATM card. I still used the acct to transfer money daily even 2 days ago.

End tym tyns, Why is nairaland always blowin trumpet 4 unilory? A.b.u produce dis same i.d 2006 bt it is expensiv 2 maintain and it went off. . Its nt a new tyn . I hop d wil be able to maintain it..

Unizik used this card as far back as 04/05 and continue to use reproduce Ȋ̝̊̅† till we graduate in 09 still ve my last if its kind with me this unilori university must be backward

This is totally unacceptable. How on earth does the issuance of ID cards to students becomes something to celebrate....I mean it shows we are so backward in this country. My first ID card in UNILAG way back has all the features...and perhaps more. No be today yansh dey back....how does that translate to quality education?

The only thing that can hinder your early graduation is spill or splash over and that would be your own handiwork. undecided
