What GEJ would be remembered for. By IFIHEARAM 1. That officially moved Nigeria from poor nation to Middle earning in international indices 2. That had the trains working again 3 That made the third precolonial region "the East" have an international airport 4. That started work in earnest for the 2nd Niger Bridge 5. That was the first to drop dependence on oil down below 80 percent. 6. That stabilized the banking industry which would have collapsed 7. That revamped the textile industry that was dead before his time 8. That began the repairs of the Ports 9. That made clearance of goods by custom one week or there about 10. That made free and fair elections a reality as confirmed by the opposition Governor Oshiomole. 11. That revamped sports in Nigeria putting Nigeria back on the podium in athletics since last done over ten years ago and also this time Alozie and Obikwelu did not drop their Nigerian citizenship immediately after (Thanks Uduaghan as well for this. ) And also making Nigeria champions of Africa again last done 19 years ago. 12. Serious attention to roads. 13. Serious attention to airports 14. Ending total dependence on importation of rice and now 60 percent produced locally and total independence in two years time 15. Building of silos and granaries for farmers and making the ports ready for export 16. Stabilizing the Naira. No sharp deeps as before. 17. Building of a dam, last built 10 years ago. 18. Building of nine universities. 19. Making education have the highest allocation....first time in history of Nigerian budgeting. 20. Greatest support given to Nigerians in diaspora, from timely intervention in bringing them home, ensuring he visits them when he goes to each country and provision of ways for them to begin to access loans and do business 21. Rescuing Mali from the crutches of Islamist. 22. Establishing a law school in bayelsa 23. fewest strikes since history of Nigeria. 24. Ending fuel queues and ensuring fuel is sold at pump price 25. Ending age old pension racket/scam. 26. Reducing subsidy racket as Nigeria pays 400 million less each month than OBJ paid 400!!!!!!! 27. Building Almajiri schools and fitting them with standard learning facilities that will bring Muslim education to today's educational needs as well as providing free lunch. 28. clear road map to end the problems in power sector. Improved power supply. End to power failure in view 29. Made Nigeria top destination of FDI (Foreign direct investment). GE is investing 4 billion in the power sector....first of such 8 Likes |

ifihearam: What GEJ would be remembered for. By IFIHEARAM wow! in the face of all the turbulence and crises. in face of all the unrest and heat at the very core of our existence he stands tall still! Buhari and his cohorts saw his abilities and have, right from the day he was elected fought tooth and nail to thwart his purpose, but like a star surrounded by the clock of darkness, he shines tru gallantly. even if it is just the fuel and power he was able to achieve, come 2015, he got ma vote, but with all these laudable landmarks, i wud sound him out at the topmost heights, come 2015! North can Burn! long llive FRN Long Live GEJ Long live eConcepts Don is the name Fame is ma sole aim! |

He will be remembered for running a dysfunctional government. All the fiscal gains made by obasanjo from far less revenues made have been frittered away with nothing to show for the massive spending. Between yar adua/GEJ and GEJ/sambo , Nigera has seriously retrogressed. Most of the projects being commissioned by GEJ are carry over initiated ,project paid for and started by OBJ. 1 Like |

berem: HE WILL DEFINITELY BE REMEMBERED FOR HIS CLUELESS APPROACH TO ISSUES CONCERNING THE NATION AND HIS INABILITY TO FIGHT CORRUPTION BY NAMING CORRUPT OFFICERS IN HIS GOVERNMENT FOR FEAR OF BEING ATTACKED this is one of the worse post i'v ever had to read! xpecially from you. and how does naming corrupt officers solve the problem ? positive action is what the country needs not some political name calling jamboree. for him to have the balls to privatize the power sector and improve the power situation, stabilize fuel in filling stations.......... if you cant see this but would rather he goes on a name calling spree, you my dear, art most CLUELESS. |

He would be remembered as the Presidential liar on CNN. He would be remembered as the man who called MEND his people and claimed they were not responsible for the Oct 1. 2010 bombing. He would be remembered as President I don't give a damn! He would be remembered as the President to have inflicted the worst hardship resulting into death of Nigerians through the fuel subsidy removal. He would be remembered as the doofus who called Boko Haram members his brothers and sisters. He would be remembered as the President who exalted corruption at all levels of government. He would be remembered as the President who cannot honor ASUU agreement, PDP agreement, nor even honor the foolish words he spoke out during his campaigns. He would be remembered as the President who eats over a million naira worth of food every day. He would be remembered as the President who could not tame his shepopotamus wife. 5 Likes |

berem: Really? then he is not ready to fight corruption! you didnt answer the Q: what would you rather have? OBJ-oputa led panel ; that named all the names, laid all the blames, wasted more public funds n fed us with super stories that yielded no positive fruit, nor solved the problem or getting down to brass track and removing most avenues political office holders explore to their advantage? |
