But Satan never outsmarted our Rock of Ages for once. Our God does things in their time. When we say the Lord's prayer, we say: "Let thine kingdom come." Mankind still thinks he has the solution to troubles of the world. As far as mankind thinks this way, satan's safety is guaranteed.
Trouble will soon come when mankind finally 'throws in the towel' about 'healing' the world. When majority of the world begins to run to the mountains and caves, crying that they fall on them; when death-wishing on a global scale seems to become the source of hope to our despair, then Satan's end has come. That time, both the righteous and sinners will collectively seek for a new landlord for Earth. Remember, Satan is the present runner of the world.
The time you think God is wasting or sparing is for you to come join his flock, for He does not want you to perish! My brother, God does not make mistakes. Let us repent now, the 'another time' might be late.
plaetton:
Was this before or after the creation of the universe?

And why can't he destroy Satan now? Why wait for Satan to do more damage?
Imagine all the trouble he would saved himself and mankind, for that matter, if he had destroyed satan from the beginning of time.

Are you sure God is even capable of destroying Satan?
Satan has had a very long time to ponder and prepare for this long awaited battle. Don't you think that perhaps satan might outsmart god again?

Killing mother rat and leaving her babies in the house is stupid if you want to rid your house of rats. Hell is a place prepared once and for all for Satan, his demons, and sinful humans. First comes the global acceptance that we cannot do without God, then the end comes. That new mankind will enjoy the world in rest or peace. Presently, we are in the times of false hopes of conquering the world, but time of sorrow is fast approaching.
Jesus is Lord.

I wonder! Naturally what do you do to a re-occurring problem? You curb it once and for all! If they had said ok, God hasn't finally obliterated him yet because God is giving him time/chance to change his ways....that would have made sense but no; They say Satan has gotten to a point of no return, he has to die
-Alright just destroy him already...

-em no...not yet

-why?

-Em...because it is to be done later.

-why later? Why not just do it already and save a lot of people stress?

-well er, we cant understand the ways of God.

smiley Of course we cant...smiley

It is us human with our developed brain that judges an action as either good or evil..to God, both mean the same thing..good is evil, evil is good. up is down, down is up. hot id cold, cold is hot...etc..

It is within darkness that a majestic seed of creation is planted and birthed. The womb is pitch black. In absolute darkness inception takes place, and within that 'black hole' of space is where new life is incubated, nurtured, grown, and sewn.

Seeds are planted underground, in the darkness of dirt, where they begin their journey toward the light of the sun, and until they break through the soil, they are traveling throughout darkness. In fact, darkness is what provides the motivation for the roots to continue upward toward the light, while the roots - which are the anchor and the foundation by which the plants are 'grounded' - remain submerged until the very end.

Perhaps humans are afraid of the dark because our ability to survive decreases. As night descends upon us, many become fearful because their eyes are not very discerning. They're more susceptible to a surprise attack because they do not know what is in their surroundings. A fear of darkness is natural for humans, because its depth is 'unknown', and its presence mysterious, but does that make darkness “bad” or “evil?” Subjectively, perhaps for humans it does, but not for the hordes of nocturnal creatures who inhabit this earth with us.

Many living organisms thrive in darkness and have developed keener senses of sight (through sound) for the blackness of night. For these creatures, darkness is not an enemy but a stalwart friend that enables their survival. For them darkness is “good,” and it is during daylight that they hide.

In the Western world, there is even a common misperception that the ancient Chinese Yin-Yang symbol correlates to 'good and evil', but that simply isn't so. A deeper probing into the metaphysics of Taoism reveals that our perceptions are subjective, and it is within this subjectivity that they create the dichotomy to what is, otherwise, an indivisible whole. Lightness and darkness cannot possess any human characteristic, thus, they can not contain our projection of good and evil.

Understand this: Dark and Light are not opposing forces, but rather complementary forces. They need each other to exist.

Darkness is the mother of all creation, and it was the spark of her first creative thought that became known as "Light", and it was good.

Darkness teaches us as much as that which is learned by the Light...this is the essence of duality. So, may we refrain from bashing the dark, while clamoring for the light...for our understanding of either of them are but limitations of our individual perspectives. May we embrace them both, and see that they imbue every single aspect of our lives - but be not confused regarding the depth of darkness.

After all, what is everywhere? The only thing that is everywhere in existence is pure darkness. Light is a temporary happening, a burning up of something. Whether it is an oil lamp, an electric bulb or the biggest source of light that we know, the sun, all of these things are just burning up. An oil lamp may last 10 hours, an electric bulb may last over 1,000 hours, the sun may last 10 billion years, but they will all burn up. When everything burns up, what is there? Only darkness. Before the burning, it was all darkness. After the burning, it is all darkness. For light to happen, something has to be done. Darkness simply is.

Light is limited. Just with the palm of your hand, you can stop it and leave a shadow of darkness behind. The sun is the very source of life on this planet. It is of tremendous size and intensity, but regardless of this, you can still stop the flow of sunlight with your mere hands. Or for that matter, just your eyelids.

If you look up into the night sky, you will notice a lot of stars, but stars are just small specks. The vast expanse of the sky is pure darkness — one can easily miss this. So in this boundless expanse of darkness, a little bit of light is happening here and there in the form of stars; one notices these little happenings, but not the boundless darkness. Why? Because as human beings, we are also little happenings; we are forms of existence, so we identify with other forms of existence. But the non-existence of darkness is the largest part of existence and it is the very lap of creation.

It is from the lap of darkness that all creation blossoms, or as they say, it “bangs out” from infinite nothingness or darkness. It is the time frame of your perception which differentiates a bang and a blossom. If you were to see a nuclear explosion in slow motion, you would see it as a blossoming. But in real time, in your experience, it is a bang.

Every religion, every culture on this planet, has always talked about the omnipresent, all-pervading nature of the divine. If you look at it, the only thing that can be truly all-pervading — the only thing that can be everywhere — is darkness or emptiness or nothingness.

So why have we always referred to the divine as “divine light” and not “divine darkness”? We celebrate light simply because our visual senses are oriented towards light. If you were to live in a forest, you would see that when the sun sets and darkness falls, a much larger activity of life commences. There is a roar through the night of insects, birds and animals. If your eyes were made like theirs, if your visual sense were made like the nocturnal animals of the forest, you wouldn’t be thinking of divine light. You would be thinking of divine darkness. So your prejudice towards light is simply because of the way your survival mechanism has been crafted.

There is a railway track in India between the cities of Hassan and Mangalore. It is a very special track. In a distance of 36 kilometers, there are over 300 bridges and 100 tunnels, and many tunnels stretch over two kilometers. When the citizens walk through the tunnel, it is pitch dark, but they will walk on the railway track without using their flashlights. “Dark” means it is absolutely dark, to the point where you cannot even see your own hand, and after some time, you don’t know whether your eyes are open or closed. Bats would be flying by, but they never hit the people because they don’t rely upon light (they rely upon sound), but they moved so close that they could feel their wings - and, after some time, as they continued to walk in darkness, something wonderful happened; once they got used to it, they didn't know whether their eyes were open or closed. There was no difference and, suddenly, they became more aware, simply because they had lost their perception of light.

If there is not even an iota of light, the outside world completely evaporates from your perception. This makes you very much aware of what you are. The individual life becomes so dominant because the outside has completely disappeared. But people will not sit quietly in darkness because they want some perception that they are still there. So whenever there is darkness, people try to whistle, talk or sing. But in darkness, if you sit for long enough, then you will start wondering whether existence is really there or not.

One of the biggest distractions in life is light. For your survival, light is extremely important, but to look beyond survival, it is a distraction. When the sun is out, you miss all the stars in the sky. Many of these stars are a thousand times bigger than the sun, but the stars get completely lost to your vision simply because the sun is flooding you with light. In the evening, when the sun goes down, you can see the stars in the sky, but in the morning, what is in the sky? It is just clear. Do you see the deception? One has always believed that light means seeing, but one sees more in darkness than in light. This is a distortion of perception.

In fact, it is "darkness" that exists as the essence of who you are - EMBRACE IT
