We can destroy it because we built it and its a messsge that we, the igbos with our technological might have all yoruba lives at our finger tip. One snap only, you all are gone. Next endeavor is to commence nuclear weapon initiative, and will pursue it relentlessly as smart Iranians are doing now. We have the brilliance and capability to do it....to serve as a warning to you jealous idiots that you guys are no match to us.

. If these ones can make a rocket that can go as far as 5km, I believe more feat can be achieved! pls can someone tell me the distance of Abuja from Lagos? maybe we can try an experiment of a loaded rocket bomb that can get to Aso rock?

I salute the ingenuity of the boys.

But I couldnt help but wonder how this thread would have been turned upside down if these boys had been northerners, the event took place in a northern state, and the commissioner of police of that state (incidentally a northerner) gave this kind of encouraging remark.

Nigeria will be better only if we think better of it. A trainee scientist in one area should not be viewed as a trainee terrorist in another unless otherwise proven.

mrvictor: Solve this Maths:

If it took two teenagers a few days to build one rocket that travels more than 5km. How many days will it take 50million older men to build and what distance will it cover?

I love this creativity but it is a dangerous creativity.
The internet/ technology has brought knowledge to the grassroots.
Pray for Nigeria. It's better we never part as enemies.
That's why the government need to give more attention to Science and Technology. Knowledge that can't be geared in the right direction and employed sensibly can very easily be exploited and used to cause harm.

olrotimi: If i hear say na competition. These young scientists were test firing their rockets getting ready for Biafra War Season II. This time around we'll fight intelligently with less manpower bt with a scientific edge. We'll totaly annihilate our foes, the Israelis are behind us, thats enough 4us
Days of cockk and shoot are fast going by.Conflicts of the future will be settled by delicate sophistication and Technology but with devastating effects of genocidal proportions instead of a three year civil war, we might just prosecute something that should end before the weekend. A conducive battlefield zone would be Lagos, with its urban landscape, coastal terrain and population it would make a good war theatre......

D rocket was a jets club project he did for a competition but d Principal then(an MBAISE woman, she retired dis August) refused sending him to Brazil to represent Nigeria citing non-availability of fund, dis is d same principal dat goes to abroad almost regularly(lets leave d woman's matter for now). As at now, d boy has been taken to Abuja.

Yes!! Lovely. Keep the innovations coming boys, in preparation for Biafra, although I stand to lose should Biafra come to fruition, I don't mind, sacrifices must be made.

Nigeria is a dead end, soon I would lead my people to a new beginning, non shall stand in the way of me, my rebel army, my people & Biafra.

Missiles technology is nt a new innovation. D world powers who are masters in this techonology with years of development stop pursuit of such weapons years ago through treaty they signed. So is nt hard 4 any place to get such weapons and defy ur treat.

Use your tongue to count your teeth, what world power would be keen to sell your,a third world entity whose value is of little importance to the world power's self-interest, a virus not to talk of its military tech secrets?in a real conflict when stocks run low,a more proactive miltary group is encouraged to improvise and ofcourse we all know improvisation is the mother of invention if it would take igbo scholboys to produce a projectile albeit without a payload in peace time what would it take real engine boys from FUTO to come up with when the sh**t hits d fan? Drone? chemical war-heads?? Intranational ballistic missile?? Russia and America will not save you....
